Lente/Spring

Het thema voor onze challenge was lente. Op de stempelbeurs in Nijkerk had ik een paar vogeltjes gekocht bij Magenta en ook een tak met bloemen. Ook wilde ik wat met embossingpaste doen en ook wat archival inkt van Ranger gebruiken in combinatie met wat stains. Eigenlijk wilde ik gewoon wat dingen uitproberen omdat ik haast nog helemaal niet gewerkt heb met de materialen die ik voor deze kaart kaart heb gebruikt.

This time the theme for our challenge was Spring. I bought some birds and a blossom branch from Magenta on the stampevent in Nijkerk. Also I wanted to use embossingpaste, archivalinks in combination with some stains.  Actually I wanted to try some things out because I hardly have worked with the materials I have used for this card.

Colored with stains and dried with heatgun about 3 times and you still can see the Archivals

Hierna heb ik met een stencil en Distress Ink wat gele stippen aangebracht en daarna weer met een andere stencil embossingpaste. Toen deze gedroogd was heb ik hem gekleurd met Picked Raspberry achteraf had ik natuurlijk mijn embossingpaste eerst op kleur kunnen brengen. Verder nog een tak gestempeld van Tim Holtz met distressinkt.

After that I made with some Distress Ink yellow dots with a stencil and than I applied some embossingpaste with another stencil and let that dry and colored it with Picked Raspberry ofcourse I could do that first. I stamped a branch from the stampsheet of Tim Holtz with distressink.

Het vogeltje heb ik ingekleurd met Inktense potloden, ik heb deze nog nooit gebruikt en het was moeilijker als ik dacht. maar na wat oefenen is het toch wel geworden wat ik wilde.
I colored the bird with Inktense Pencils, it was the first time I used them and it was more difficult that I thought. But after a few birds LOL I ended up with the one on my card.

Als laatste wil ik nog even uitleggen hoe ik de tak heb gedaan. Ik heb de stempel ingekleurd met distressmarkers daarna wat water er op gesprayd en toen gestempeld op aquarelpapier en bijgewerkt met de inkpads in dezelfde kleur en uitgeknipt.
For the branch I colered the stamp with distressmarkers, lightly misted it with water and than I stamped it on aquarelpaper and finished it with inkpads in the same color and cut it out.

Chicken-Roostercard with PanPastel

Zo, hier ben ik weer eens met een kaartje.  Dit keer weer gewerkt met de Panpastels. De Cover-a Card stempel had ik vorig jaar al gekocht bij de Posthumus winkel omdat ik hem zo leuk vond(en nog steeds natuurlijk)  en daar moest natuurlijk wat mee gemaakt worden dit jaar. Dus vol goede moed aan de slag. De achtergrond was klaar en zelfs het kippengaas met de Metallic Pastels was goed gegaan maar toen..... Nu had ik op de Art Specially een kippengaas hart gezien maar zoiets van die komt wel . Ga vaak genoeg naar de Posthumus in ieder geval 10 Mei. En teksten heb ik zat maar natuurlijk niet de goede voor deze kaart. Aangezien ik niet het type ben om paaskaarten te versturen wilde ik geen Happy Easter. Aan de slag met een tag dus maar op de één of andere manier paste dat niet mooi bij de achtergrond. De enige optie was dus naar de Posthumus, Almere is maar 20 minuten van Amsterdam vandaan ha,ha. En ik ga er altijd met véél plezier naar toe, de rest van Amsterdam interesseert mij niet LOL alleen dat kleine, knusse winkeltje met hele leuk mensen. Daarna nog even wat drinken op het Rembrandtplein en met een voldaan gevoel weer naar huis. Had gelukkig niet zoveel gekocht op de stempelbeurs 1,5 week geleden hmm!!!

So, here a new card. This time I used Panpastels. Last year I bought the CAC stamp by the Posthumus shop because I liked it so much and this year I had to make a card with it.  So I started with the card and soon I finished my background and even the chickenwire which I did with the Metallic Pastels turned out OK. But than...... On the Art Specially(stampevent in the Netherlands) I saw a chickenwire heart but I thought I will look for it when I am going to Amsterdam on May the 10th. And I have enough sentiments and quotes but ofcourse not the right one LOL. Because I am not the person that sents Eastercards I want nog a Happy Easter as sentiment. I decided to make a tag but after I finished it,it seems it was nog the right choice. so, my only option was to go to Amsterdam LOL, it is only 20 minutes away from where I live. And I love to visit this little, sweet stamp shop with their  lovely people. I am not interrested in the rest of Amsterdam only this shop(little joke). After that we went to the Rembrandtplein and we had a drink and than I wnet home satisfied.  I am glad that I didn't buy very much on the Stampevent hmm( I am a bit lying now)

JFJ 12 geen designpapier, no use of designpaper

In mijn laatste bericht had ik het over de letter D en die stond dus voor Dylusion. Aangezien we geen designpapier mochten gebruiken ben ik maar gaan spelen met deze sprays en wat stencils. Heb twee kaarten gemaakt, bijna hetzelfde maar toch weer even anders. Ik begin met kaart 2. In my last post I mentioned the letter D and I meant Dylusion by it. Because we were not allowed to use any designpaper I started to play with these sprays and stencils. I made two cards, almost the same but also different. I start with card two.

In de eerste instantie ging ik voor 1 kaart en de tweede zou ik als backup gebruiken voor als de eerste verkeerd zou gaan. Eigenlijk ging het héél goed met de eerste en de tweede juist niet en dan bedoel ik het moment dat ik de silhouette stencil had gebruikt. Ik vond de kleuren zo gaaf dat ik dit opgelost heb dmv het silhouette over te trekken op een ander stukje papier en verder weer heb bewerkt met de resist techniek en zwarte spray. First I wanted to make one card and the second one for reserve incase my first one was all messed up. The first one turned out very well but the second one went wrong after using the silhouette stencil. But because I love the colors of the second one I solved that problem by drawing the silhouette on a other piece of paper and than finished it with the resist technique and black spray(see my picture)

  Voor de eerste kaart heb ik nog een bloem gemaakt. Normaal heb ik altijd wel wat op mijn kaart qua bloemen of andere materialen zitten maar  ik vind het met dit soort kaarten mooier om het simpel te houden want dan zie je het effect van de stencils beter. Ik heb voor de bloem tissue paper bespoten met de sprays en met de heatgun droog gemaakt. Ik heb ongeveer 4 stukken tissue besprayed in verschillende kleuren. Daarna met de die van Tim Holtz uitgestanst. Denk bij elkaar 12/14 bloemen Voor de kern een brad ingesmeerd met Glossy Accents en kraaltjes er op geplakt. De blaadjes zijn ook gemaakt met een die van Tim Holtz, zowel uit papier als uit zwart kant. Daarna het kante op het papier geplakt Je ziet het totaal niet op de foto.
For my first card I made a flower of tissuepaper. Normally I always put some flowers or other things on my card but I think with this tecnique I find it more beautiful te keep it simple. Also if you put to much on it you don't see the effect of the stencils. For the flower I used some sheets of tissuepaper which I sprayed with the sprays and dried them with a heatgun. I used about 4 sheets and sprayed them with different colors, I used a die to cut them out I think 12 or 14 flowers. For the centre I glued somel little beads on a brad. Than I took some black lace and black paper and used a die to cut some leaves. I glued the lace leaf on the paper leaf. You can not see it on the picture.

Nou, eigenlijk toch nog een aardig verhaal geworden en hoop dat jullie er een beetje wijs uit worden haha. Vind het zelf een beetje chaotisch allemaal LOL. Maar goed vond het erg leuk om met de Dylusions te werken en ga ze vast vaker gebruiken. Nu even kijken wat de andere twee dames hebben gemaakt.After all a long story and I hope it makes any sense ha,ha. For myself it sounds a little chaotic LOL. But it was fun to play with the Dylusions and I am sure I will play with them more often. So, let's see what the other girls have made.

De stempels komen bij Posthumus vandaan

Vorige week deze kaart gemaakt, had geen tijd om hem eerder te plaatsen.

Last week I made this card, I had no time to post it earlier.

Ik heb eerst de basis met stains gekleurd en daarna met distressinkt de stempel van Hero Arts beinkt met 2 verschillende kleuren. Een heel klein beetje water eroverheen gesprayed en toen gestempeld op de basiskaart.

First I made the base with some stains and after that I inked the stamp from Hero Arts with two different colors of distress ink and misted it with a little water. After that I stamped the image on the base.

Daarna allerlei andere stempels gebruikt om het af te maken. De sterren van IO heb ik zowel direct gestempeld op de kaart als op papier, geëmbost en daarna uitgeknipt. Zoals te zien is in mijn materialenlijstje heb ik veel embossingpoeder gebruikt, glitter en mettalic.

Than I used a couple of other stamps to finish the card. I stamped the stars from IO directly on my card as well on paper, heat embossed them and  cut them out. As you can see in my materiallist I used a lot of embossingpowder.

Dit was even een héél kort berichtje. Vrijdag ben ik er weer voor de JFJ challenge(met echt weer héééél wat anders, het begint met de letter D) en het weekend lekker naar Nijkerk, De Art Specially Event. Ben vandaag nog even naar de kapper geweest dus ben er helemaal klaar voor hahaha.

This was a very short post. Friday I am back for the JFJ challenge(with something totally different, its start with the letter D) and this weekend I am going to the Art Specially in Nijkerk, a big Stampevent. I went to the hairdresser today so I am ready for it LOL.

 Bijna alle materialen, in ieder geval alle stempels, komen bij Posthumus vandaan.

JFJ 11: around a Sentiment/ rondom een tekst

Ik moest een kaartje maken voor iemand en dat heb ik gecombineerd met de challenge. De kleuren die ik gebruikt heb zijn dus de kleuren die zij mooi vind. Het is erg rose maar toch heeft het wel wat. Hoe ik de achtergrond gemaakt heb kun je op de foto's zien.

I had to make a card for someone and I combined it with our friendly challenge. The colors I have used are the colors she likes It is very pink but in combination with the silver it is OK. You can see on the pictures how I made the background.

Het frame rondom de tekst heb ik gesneden uit heel dik cardboard en bewerkt met gesso, kant, glass bead gell, paint en Inka Gold. Daarop een vlinder geplakt en een torso.  Ik heb van Prima torso's gekocht en van één van de torso's een mold gemaakt, ik heb fimoklei gebruikt voor de torso, meestal gebruik ik lichtgewicht klei. Ik doe dit altijd met de Prima embellishments(dan kan ik ze vaker gebruiken).

I cut a frame from very thick cardboard and used gesso, lace, glassbeadgell. paint and Inka Gold to pimp it. On the frame I added a butterfly and a torso. I bought a package of torsos(embellishments) from Prima and made a mold of one of them, I used fimoc clay to make the torso(normally I use lightweight clay). I alway do that with the Prima embellishments(than I can use them more often).

Aangezien ik al de hele dag achter de computer heb gezeten laat ik het hierbij. Moet nog even kijken voor een duidelijk tutorial om een pinterest  knop te laten verschijnen als je over een afbeelding gaat. Ik dacht dat ik er één had gevonden maar vond hem toch iets te ingewikkeld. Heb nl geen zin om weer helemaal opnieuw te beginnen met mijn blog. 

Because I spend almost the whole day behind the computer I will finish my post for now. I 
have to search for a easy tutorial how to add a Pin It button for my images. I thought I had one but it was to complicated for me LOL. It is not mine intention to start all over again with my blog LOL.

Happy Birthday with Tilda Tangle

Vind het af en toe weleens lastig hoe te beginnen met een nieuw bericht maar laat ik maar meteen beginnen bij het inkleuren van Tilda. Ik heb dit keer eens hele ander kleuren genomen voor het gezicht en het haar. En ik ben er echt helemaal súper tevreden over. Het heeft me wel een paar uurtjes gekost en hier en daar even sites bezocht. Voor de huid heb ik een kleurencombinatie gebruikt van Kit and Clowder. Het haar kan nog wel beter maar voor iemand die zeker niet wekelijks inkleurt met Copic Markers vind ik het helemaal niet slecht.

Sometimes I find it hard to start a new blogpost but let's begin about my coloring of Tilda. This time I used other colors for het skin and hair than I normally do. And I am so pleased with the result of it, I think it's the first time I am so pleased with my copiccolorin LOL. It cost me a couple(a lot) of hours and I have visited some blogs on the web. For the skin I used a color combo from Kit and Clowder The hair is still not perfect but for someone who doesn't color every week with Copics I find it not bad at all.

Eigenlijk is de rest van mijn kaartje wel duidelijk denk ik. Voor het randje van Tilda heb ik de twee embossingenamels een beetje door elkaar gemixt. In de blauwe zat een glittertje dus door vermenging met de rose werd het niet te. Ook heb ik de naaimachine weer gebruikt, achteraf is daar weinig van te zien omdat er natuurlijk weer van alles boven op kwam. Maar dat wist ik ook niet van tevoren ha,ha. Al met al vind ik hem súper geworden. Toch ga ik hierna totaal weer wat anders maken, kijk er nu al naar uit..... In ieder geval geen Magnolia. Tot de volgende keer en dan heb ik ook mijn nieuwe bloglayout. Bedankt voor je bezoek.

I think the rest of my card is pretty clear. For the edges around Tilda I used a mix of the two embossingenamels. There is some gliter in the blue one and together with the rose it gives a nice but not to much glittery effect. Again I used my sewingmachine but because of all the layers I don't think you can see the sewing very good. But if I had knew that before I had left my machine in the box LOL. After all I think my card turned out very nice. I love playing with my Maggies but now it's time to make something totally different. Eindelijk een keer op tijd. Ik heb gekozen voor….ja, weet eigenlijk niet hoe ik deze kleurencombinatie moet noemen baroque, oosters?? Maakt ook niet uit, ben in ieder gevallen súper tevreden over hoe die is geworden, precies  zoals ik in mijn hoofd had. Bijna alle materialen komen bij Posthumus Amsterdam vandaan, in ieder geval alle stempels.
Finally on time with Just for Fun 10. I have chosen for…I don’t know exactly what this colorcombo is called

baroque, eastern?? It doesn’t matter I am so pleased with the result of my card. It turned out just the way I wanted it to be. All the stamps I have used are coming from the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam also some of the other materials I used.

Nou, ben weer lekker op tijd met onze challenge ha,ha. Aankomende vrijdag moet ik JFJ 10 alweer klaar hebben. Vanwege wat vervelende gebeurtenissen afgelopen weken is mijn inspiratie een beetje verdwenen maar dat gaat wel weer goed komen.

We moesten een Magnolia creatie maken, dus de meeste materialen moesten  van Magnolia zijn. 

Dit keer ingekleurd met mijn Copics, ben erg tevreden hoe Tilda is geworden. Moet erg wennen aan de kleuren die ik heb gebruikt niet die van Tilda maar voor van de rest van de kaart maar hoe langer ik er naar kijk des te leuker ik het vind. Het geel springt er erg uit maar toch staat het lekker fris. Het groen van Tilda zit ook in het papier(is niet heel goed te zien) van één van de wolkjes en hekjes en tag. Ja, soms moet je je grenzen wel eens verleggen. 

Voor mijn creatie voor vrijdag ga ik weer totaal iets ander maken dus ik hoop jullie dan weer langs willen komen. O ja, er is nog iemand die iets súpers heeft gemaakt mochten jullie daar nog niet geweest zijn.
