Reindeer Tilda

Zoals beloofd weer een kaartje. Het is niet zo geworden als ik in mijn hoofd had en ook zaten sommige dingen een beetje tegen, maar dat hebben we allemaal weleens denk ik. Het kruissteekje bovenaan heb ik met de naaimachine gedaan. Tenminste de gaatjes dus vandaar dat het niet helemaal in het midden zit. Het inkleuren ging wel goed ben erg tevreden over de kleur rood. Het gezicht vind ik niet zo, dat heb ik in de avond ingekleurd met verkeerd licht, maar het kan nog net. De pin heb ik zelf gemaakt, de rode kralen zijn Swarovski. Ik had ze nog liggen en vond de kleur rood erg mooi anders had ik ze natuurlijk niet gebruikt.De rest van de avond ga ik mijn hobbykamer opruimen het is een totale chaos hier.

As promised another card. The result is not what I had in mind, but OK it’s not the worst card I have made ha,ha. Just kidding. The criss cross stitch I did with the sewing machine, only the holes and the rest by hand. That’s why it is not correctly centered. I have colored Tilda with my copics and I am very pleased with the result, especially the red part. The face is not so good but I did that with the wrong light. The pin I have made by myself and I used red Swarovski beads. It is a bit expensive but the red color is beautiful and I had them laying in my closet so……… The rest of the evening i am going to clean my craftingroom it is a chaos over here.

Het heeft lang geduurd maar ......

Eindelijk dan weer eens een kaartje. Echt een tijd geleden maar soms heb je soms heb je weleens andere dingen te regelen die voor gaan. Ook help ik Aya van Miekelotte in haar (web)winkeltje en help haar ook op verschillende hobbybeurzen. Erg vermoeiend maar ook weer erg leuk.


Maar ik ben wel weer van plan om wat meer kaartjes te gaan maken, heb er weer véél zin in en de volgende is ook alweer bijna klaar, hoop op morgen maar anders zeker maandag.

Finally a card. It is really a while ago but sometimes you have some other things to do that are more important. Also I am helping Aya from Miekelotte with her (web)shop and I also helping her on craft events(hobby fairs). It is fun to do but I always glad when the last day is on his end.

But I am planning to make more cards from now of on and the next one is almost finished. So I hope I will share it with you tomorrow and otherwise it will be on Monday.

Kerstkaart-Christmascard

Voor deze kaart heb ik mijn naaimachine uit de kast gehaald. Bijna alle laagjes zijn gestikt. De kleine driehoekjes met een hele kleine zigzagsteek en de vierkante laagjes met een normale stiksteek. De retro bloem heb ik mijn airbrush gebruikt. Eerst een bloem uitgeponst toen met een lichtgroene marker geairbrushd daarna met een impressability(Spellbinders) geëmbost en toen met een tint donkerder weer geairbrushed. Vind het net fluweel. De kleine roosjes zijn van Wildorchidcrafts. Voor de achtergrond van Tilda with Yulehat heb ik met de cuttlebug embossing stencil snowflake gebruikt en afgewerkt met glitter. Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Normaal vertel ik altijd welke materialen/ gereedschappen ik gebruikt heb maar ik had een beetje haast dus dat doe ik weer bij de volgende kaart.

For this card I did a lot of stitching. I  used 2 kinds of stitches, for the little triangles the zig zag stitch and for the other layers the normal stitch. For the retro flower I used my copic airbrush. First I punched the retro flower than I airbrushed it with light green (copic) than I embossed it with an Flourish Impressability from spellbinders and after that I airbrushed it it with a darker color. It looks just like velvet . The little roses are from Wildorchidcrafts. I embossed the background for Tilda with Yulehat with a cuttlebug embossing stencil snowflake and then I put some glitter on it. I have colored Tilda with Copic Markers. Normally i always give a list with the materials/tools i have used but i was a littlebit in a hurry.

Gold Tilda !!!!

Voor deze kaart heb ik wit cardstock ingesprayed met Spray&Sparkle Gold van Crafters Companion. Ideaal voor dit soort doeleinden ook de roosjes heb ik er mee ingespoten. Geen geklieder en wachten dat het droog is. Ik heb het gekocht bij Miekelotte. Het bestaat ook in zilver, iridescent en nog een soort. Daarna heb ik strookjes gesneden en dit ook gedaan met het papier van Magnolia en toen in elkaar gevlochten. Moet zeggen dat ik het resultaat erg leuk vind. De randjes van het Magnoliapapier heb ik met glossy-accents gedaan en daarna goud glitter erover gestrooid. En als finishing touch natuurlijk veel roosjes van Wildorchidcrafts.

For this card i have sprayed a piece of white cardstock with Spray&Sparkle Gold van Crafters Companion. I did also the white roses with the spray. It is great stuff, no mess and it dries very quickly. I have bought it by Miekelotte in the Netherlands and of course by Crafters Companion. You can buy it also in silver, iridescent and another color. After that I have cut thin pieces of the cardstock and I did that also with some papers of Magnolia and then I've woven them together. I must say that I was very pleased with the result. The edges of the other papers I did with glossy-accents and gold glitter. And for the finishing touch………. a lot of roses from Wildorchidcrafts.

Tilda with Tilda

Dit keer een kaart voor mijn schoonzusje gemaakt. Zij heeft afgelopen weekend deze mooie leeftijd bereikt. Ik heb dus zoals jullie zien een easelkaart gemaakt en door al die grote bloemen paste de kaart niet in een envelop en heb ik er dus maar een doosje bijgemaakt met de scor-it. Zoals gewoonlijk was ik weer op het laatste moment begonnen( ben 2 avonden tot héééél laat bezig geweest) en met daarbij een flinke verkoudheid verliep het hele projectje toch wel soepeltjes. Was ook weer een tijd geleden dat ik met Copics had gekleurd dus dat was ook wel weer even wennen. Het papier is van Tilda. Zo lief in combinatie met deze Magnolia Stempel.

This time a birthday card for my sister in law. Last weekend she became 50 years old. As you can see I made an easelcard for her and because of the big flowers the card did not fit in an envelope so I made a box for it with my scor-it. As usual I began very late with the card (for two evenings I was busy till over midnight) and despite a heavy cold I have to say that everything was going very smoothly. Also it was a while ago that I had colored with my copics so I had to practice a bit. The paper is from Tilda. I find the combination with the paper and Magnolia stamp Tilda with roses so sweet.

Happy fiftieth Birthday Aya

Vorige week is Aya, een lieve vriendin van mij, 50 geworden, en daarom heb ik een special kaart voor haar gemaakt. Aya heeft een internetwinkel, Miekelotte, met o.a. een giga assortiment aan Magnolia stempels, dies en papier en daarom wilde ik een echte Magnolia kaart maken voor haar. Alleen het paper is niet van Magnolia. De kaart heb ik gemaakt met mijn Pazzles machine. Ik vind het moeilijk om uit te leggen hoe ik bepaalde dingen heb gedaan met de kaart, dus dat doe ik dan maar niet. De naam Aya heb ik gemaakt met de Rhinestonesoftware.

Last week Aya, a dear friend of mine, had her fiftieth birthday. Aya owns an online store in th Netherlands, Miekelotte, and among other things she has a great assortment Magnolia products and that’s why I made a real Magnolia card. Only the paper is not from Magnolia. The shape card 50 I have made with my Pazzles cutting machine. It is difficult for me to explain what I exactly did with this shape card so I think it is for the best that I don’t do that LOL. The name Aya I made with the Rhinestonesoftware.

A couple of Christmascards

Ik had alletwee de kaartje al een tijdje klaar alleen nog niet de tijd genomen om ze op mijn blog te plaatsen. Beide zijn ingekleurd met Copic Markers.

Voor deze kaart heb ik een sketch gebruikt van Mojo Monday. Ik vind hun sketches helemaal leuk maar dit is de eerste keer dat ik ermee gewerkt heb. Normaal maak ik een foto van de copickleuren die ik gebruikt heb maar om de één of andere reden ben ik dit vergeten. Sorry.

For someone special !!!!

Mijn schoonzusje vroeg of ik voor haar een kaart wilde maken voor iemand die een hele moeilijke tijd doormaakt. Vind hem zelf erg mooi geworden. Ik heb ingekleurd met distressinkt en een stempel gebruikt uit de Fairytale collectie van Magnolia. De blaadjes heb ik gemaakt met een stans van Magnolia(Leaf and Swirl) en de roosjes zijn van Wild Orchid Crafts.
De fairydust heb ik met glitter gedaan maar dat is moeilijk te zien op de foto.

My sister in law asked me if i could make a card for her. The person who gets this card is going through a very, very difficult time. I am very pleased with the result. I colored with distressinkt and I used a stamp from the Fairytale collection from Magnolia. The leaves I made with the Magnolia die Leaf and Swirl and the roses are from Wild orchid Crafts. I used glitter for the fairydust but you can hardly see it on the photo.

Happy Birthday

Toen ik deze stempel van de Greeting Farm voor het eerst zag vond ik hem zo leuk dat ik er nu pas een kaartje mee maak LOL. Zo heb ik er nog vééééél meer. Ik denk dat ik niet de enige ben met het probleem. Ga er zeker nog een kaartje mee maken want het is echt een leuke stempel, niet al te groot en dat vind ik af en toe wel fijn. Soms zijn de stempels zo groot dat ik weleens het probleem heb waar ik mijn decoraties voor de kaart op moet plakken en mijn kaarten maak ik al 15x15cm of 13x17.


When is saw this stamp for the first time( 1.5 year ago) I found it so cute that I have used it for the first time LOL. But I have many stamps that I did not use yet. But I think that I am not the only one. I am sure that I will make a card with it again. The nice thing about this stamp is that it is not so big. Sometimes I find it hard to put my decorations on a card because of the big stamp image. So at this moment I make my cards with the following measurements 5.9x5.9 inch and 5.10x6.7 inch.

Christmas with WOJ

Dit kaartje is dus gemaakt met een stempel van Whiff of Joy. Het papier van Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses vond ik er perfect bij passen. Omdat het papier vrij druk is heb ik niet zoveel gebruik gemaakt van embellishments Het afdrukje is ingekleurd met Copic markers op Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth White Cardstock(wat een naam pffff), moet zeggen dat ik daar erg tevreden over ben. Trouwens de brad heb ik gemaakt met de I-top tool.

Op de valreep nog mijn kaart afgekregen voor de challenge van Dutch Card Lovers. Is altijd zonde dat je de glittereffecten niet goed op de foto kan krijgen. De tekst is nl. met glitterembossingpoeder gedaan maar je ziet er niet zoveel van.

Kerstkaart/Christmascard

Ik heb dit kaartje gemaakt voor de Dutch Card Lovers challenge. Het is voor de eerste keer dat ik aan een challenge meedoe. Ik heb voor een kerstkaart gekozen en heb daar het papier van Sei-Wintersong gebruikt. De swirls heb ik gemaakt van rhinestones en geen patroon voor gebruikt vond het doodeng maar het is gelukt. De Magnolia heb ik ingekleurd met Copics.

This card i made voor de Dutch Card Lovers challenge . This is the first time I take part of a challenge. I have chosen to make a Christmas card and use the Wintersong paper from Sei. The flourish I made with rhinestones and I did not use a template for it. I just put them down on the paper and closed my eyes (LOL) and put my rhinestone tool on the stones. The coloring is done with my Copics.

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt met één van de nieuwe cuttlebug Quilled Chrysanthemum gekocht bij Hobbycompleet De Duif. Ik hoor me nog zeggen een paar maanden geleden: ontzettend leuk maar veel te duur en die ga ik zeker niet kopen. Maar ik heb er toch twee gekocht . Ik heb 2 verschillende bloemen  gemaakt voor deze kaart. De één met de kern en de ander zonder kern. Moet zeggen dat ik die zonder kern eigenlijk nog leuker vind. Het bracht me ook meteen op een idee. Ik ga proberen om met mijn snijmachine ook zo’n mal te maken met bijv. poinsettablaadjes. Verder kun je ze natuurlijk ook met elkaar combineren.

This card i made with the new Cuttlebug Quilled Chrysanthemum . Acouple of months ago I said to myself: they are stunning but way to expensive and I am not going to buy them. But I have two of them now (crazy me LOL) I made two different flowers with the Chrysnthemym. One with the heart and one without the heart. I like the one without more. Of course you can combine the Chrysanthemum with the Daisy. Also I am going to try to make my own template with my Pazzles machine maybe a poinsettia.

Even een hele andere kaart

Voor de verandering een hele andere kaart. Ja, niet iedereen houd van kaarten met de Magnolia figuren of stempels die daar op lijken. Dus een hele andere kaart gemaakt. Eigenlijk wel moeilijk om van het ene type kaart over te stappen naar het andere. Ik vond het wel leuk om te maken maar ik ga er toch weer snel eentje maken met één van mijn favoriete stempels zoals Magnolia.

A totally different card

For a change i made a whole different card. There are people who do not like the Magnolia figures or look a likes. It was fun to make this card but I will soon make a card with my favorite figures such as Magnolia.

Wow, wat een papier is dit zeg. Elke vel met glitters en daar ben ik dol op. Had een beetje moeite met het zoeken naar de juiste combinatie en vond de binnenkant net gaan maar weer tevreden met het eindresultaat. Het idee heb ik Maria Bell. De Magnolia heb ik ingekleurd met distressinkt. Aan de binnenkant kan je geld en/of een tag stoppen, ik had een tag gemaakt maar vergeten een foto te maken.

Wow, what a glamorous paper is this. Each sheet is glittering or shining and I like that. I had some difficulty to find the right combination especially for the inside of the card but I am very pleased with the result. I found the idea on the blog of Maria Bell . The Magnolia is colored with distressink. In the inside of the card you can put money and/or a tag, i made a tag but I forgot to take a picture of it.

Kleurrijke kaart/ Colorful card

Zoals ik al eerder vermeld had ben ik helemaal verliefd op dit papier. Soms heb je dat weleens niet? Vind de kleuren schitterend, de patronen goed op elkaar afgestemd alleen de juiste stempel ontbrak nog voor deze kaart. En dat was die van Whiff of Joy 1001 nights. Ik heb tientallen stempels en natuurlijk moest ik weer per se die stempels van 1001nights hebben en ook nog die van de shopkit. Na een hoop gegoogle en een beetje mazzel heb ik hem uiteindelijk kunnen bemachtigen.


Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met Copics. Had best wel veel moeite met het grote vlak om de lichtval er goed in te krijgen. Ook de RV kleuren laten niet makkelijk mengen maar het eindresultaat mag er best wel wezen. Ook heb ik de airbrush gebruikt voor de achtergrond. Eerst het papier met de impressabilty geëmbost en toen de airbrush er overheen. Ik had het eerst anders gedaan maar dat mislukte dus ……..

As previously indicated I’m totally in love with this paper. Sometimes you simply cannot help yourself LOL. I love the colours and the patterns are awesome. The only downer was that I did not have the right stamp (Whiff of Joy 1001 nights). I have dozens of stamps but sadly enough not this one from 1001 nights Shopkit. After spending some time googling around I got lucky and finally managed to get the so “badly desired” stamps.

I coloured the design with Copics. It was quite difficult to get the light aspect right in the big area. Also the mixing of the RV colours took a lot of effort but in the end I’m quite pleased about the results. For the background I used the airbrush. First I embossed the paper with the Impressability and then the airbrush to finish off. Initially I tried differently but that failed. My brother in law did the translation.

Geboortekaartjes/ Birth cards with Distresinkt

Aya van Miekelotte vroeg aan mij of ik voor haar voorbeeldkaartjes wilde maken met stempels en papier uit de Paascollectie(2010) in combinatie met de Creatables van Marianne design,
Dit is dus het eindresultaat geworden. Ik heb ze ingekleurd met distressinkt. Ik ben nog een beginneling met deze techniek maar ik ben er erg tevreden over. Zondag ga ik ook naar de beurs in Rijswijk om Aya te helpen. Is de eerste keer dat ik op een beurs sta.

Aya, owner of Miekelotte asked me if i could make a couple of sample cards with stamps en paper from the Magnolia Eastercollection 2010 together with the Creatables from Marianne Design.

I have colored them with distressinkt. I am a beginner with this technique but I am very pleased with the final result. On Sunday I am going to help Aya on a Craftfair for the first time.

Mijn eerste echte Distress inkleuring !!!

Een aantal weken geleden heb ik, samen met mij zus, een hele leuke, gezellige en vooral leerzame workshop gevolgd bij Angelique. Inkleuren met Distressinkt. Zij legt het perfect uit en kan prachtig inkleuren zowel met Distress als met de Copic Markers. En het allerbelangrijkst dat het hééél erg gezellig was.


Ik heb dus een doosje gemaakt patroon staat oa op de site van Kaarten maken met Tiets Ik heb de deksel iets anders gedaan maar dat zie je niet aan de buitenkant. Het papier, onwijs leuk, is van Bo Bunny. De Fan Fold Bloom heb ik ook van Splitcoastampers. Volgens hun beschrijving moest je dus een reep papier nemen en de ene rand ponsen met een schulppons. Deze pons had ik dus niet en ja, dan ben ik zo’n type die meteen alle internetwinkels afgaat om te kijken wie hem nog verkoopt. Maar later dacht ik, Syl je lijkt net gek je hebt een prachtig snijapparaat op je kamer staan!! Dus ik heb er zelf maar één gemaakt, en dat ging nog snel ook. Kunnen we weer een lijntje papier bestellen LOL. De brad heb ik ook zelf gemaakt met de I Top Tool. Persoonlijk vind ik het niet één van de makkelijkste apparaatjes maar misschien moet ik hem wat meer gaan gebruiken. Verder nog gebruik gemaakt van Spellbinders Nestabilities, lint en daarop heb ik weer wat steentjes geplakt.

De stempel is natuurlijk een Magnolia(Happy Easter Collection 2010). De Magnolia stempels komen bij Miekelotte vandaan. Zij heeft een enorme sortering. En staan er een paar niet op haar site neem dan even contact op want meestal heeft ze ze toch af kan ze ze nog bestellen.

Ik heb haar dus ingekleurd met distressinkt en moet zeggen: Niet gek voor de eerste keer !!! Tuurlijk is het nog niet helemaal vlekkeloos maar dat hoeft ook helemaal niet. Het blijft “Handmade”

50 Jaar Getrouwd

Hoi,hoi,

Eindelijk dan weer een nieuw kaartje. Op het moment heb ik best wel een moeilijke tijd dus vandaar dat ik het maken van kaarten een beetje naar de achtergrond heb geschoven.
Mijn moeder vroeg of ik een kaartje wilde maken voor mijn oom en tante, die waren 50 jaar getrouwd. En dat kwam natuurlijk mooi uit want een beetje afleiding kon ik wel gebruiken.

Mijn oom en tante hebben altijd in de bloemen gezeten dus vandaar de vele roosjes. Die komen bij WILDORCHIDCRAFTS vandaan, bij velen al bekend. Ik vind de roosjes en bloemetjes echt helemaal súper van hun, schitterende kwaliteit en niet duur.

De trouwfoto is natuurlijk van het bruidspaar, meestal als ik van dit soorten kaarten maak probeer ik er altijd iets persoonlijks van te maken. Aan de binnenkant heb ik nog een mini criss cross card gemaakt om het geld in te doen. De foto ontbreekt helaas.

Finally a new card. At the moment I have quite a difficult time so that’s why it I make not so many cards at the moment.My mother asked me if I wanted to make a card for my uncle and aunt, who had been married for 50 years. And of course I said yes because I needed some distraction.

 My uncle and aunt have had a floral business , so that’s why I put a lot of flowers on it. The roses are from WILDORCHIDCRAFTS , well-known by a lot of you. Great shop, very nice owners and beautiful roses and flowers and not expensive.

The wedding picture is of course of the bride end groom, when I make this kind of cards I always try to make something personal of it. I had put a mini criss cross envelope inside the card to put the money in. I saw this on the Whiff of Joy blog. Unfortunately i did not make a picture of it.

Paasei tasje

Dit tasje had ik gezien op de blog van Bettys Creations. Aangezien mijn vader druk bezig was met het opknappen van mijn hobbykamer had ik alle tijd om een beetje te spelen met de software van mijn Pazzlessnijmachine. Dus ik besloot om van dit tasje een snijbestand te maken en dat is me aardig gelukt al zeg ik het zelf.

Easteregg purse

I saw this egg-purse on the blog of Bettys Creations. While my father was busy with my craftroom I had plenty of time to play with the software of my Pazzlescuttingmachine . So I decided to make a cuttingfile of this purse and I must say I was very pleased with the result.

Mijn hobbykamer, my craftroom !!!

Hier dan eindelijk wat foto's van mijn vernieuwde hobbykamer. Eerst een foto van mijn súper vader, die dit allemaal gemaakt heeft voor mij. Vooral de tafel is echt helemaal súper!!!!! Bedankt paps.
Hij heeft al zoveel gemaakt voor mij, stempelkast, papierkastjes enz. Volgens mij heeft hij nachtmerries van mij gehad ha,ha,ha.

Finally the pictures of my new craftroom. First a picture of my súperdad, he is the one who made all of this for me. Especcialy the table is awesome. Thanks dad, you're the best. He has made already a lot of things for me, the wooden stampstorage,and a paperstorage(i don't know another word for it right now). I think he had nightmares of me sometimes LOL.
