Inventory challenge 75 Easter bunny or Easter lamb or Easter chick ……..

Ik heb een paas tasje gemaakt in de vorm van een ei. Had deze een paar jaar geleden ontworpen met de software van mijn snijmachine,  dus ik dacht laat ik hem nog maar eens een keer maken. Mijn eerste kunnen jullie hier nog even bekijken.  Op de voorkant heb ik  Tilda Little Shepherd gebruikt. Na ongeveer 10x had ik pas een goede afdruk van deze stempel. Begon met het gezichtje was al bijna klaar en toen bleek mijn Copic kleur E00 leeg te zijn. Dus ik moest op zoek naar een nieuwe kleuren combinatie en weer opnieuw stempelen. Toen ik helemaal klaar was wilde ik beginnen met de stempel voor de achterkant van het tasje, Tilda with lamb. Denk dat zij het wachten zat was want ik kon haar nergens meer vinden . Ze zat niet meer op haar plekje. Hoop wel dat ze weer terug komt want ze is toch wel erg leuk. Dus ik moest wat anders bedenken en toen kwamen opeens de Bunny van Tim Holtz aangehuppeld. Deze heb ik 2x geëmbost met Distress embossing powder en daarna Distress stickles gebruikt, voor beide de kleur Vintage Photo gebruikt. Toen ben ik nog even naar de winkel gegaan om chocolade eitjes te halen in de kleuren van mijn DP.

I made a egg shape Easter bag , I did not know another word for it. His one I designed a couple of years ago with the software of my cutting machine, so I thought let’s make it again. My first one you can see here. On the front of the bag I have used Tilda Little shepherd. After an attempt of 10 times I had finally a good stamped image to work with. So, I began with the face and it was almost finished but my Copic color E00 was empty so I had to start all over and use an other colorcombo for the skin. The front was done and I wanted to start with the image for the back of the basket, Tilda with Lamb. I think she was tired of waiting because she was gone, she was not in the place where she should be. She walked away, I think, but I hope she will return. Than I had to figure out what to use instead of her and their they were, the Bunnies from Tim Holtz were hopping around. I have embossed them twice with Distressembossing powder and after that I finished them with Distress stickles, for both I used the color Vintage Photo. When I was almost finished I went to a store where they sell chocolate eggs by color, I wanted my eggs in the same color as my DP. I know I am a little crazy LOL.

Inventory challenge 74 The Ideal Couple

Dit keer moesten we iets maken met Edwin en Tilda.   Ik heb een trouwkaartje gemaakt voor mijn buren die in Juni /Juli gaan trouwen. Meestal maak ik dit soort kaartjes altijd op het laatste moment. Ik kan me nog wel herrinneren dat ik een keer een kaartje moest maken voor mijn neef, ik ben toen een hele nacht bezig geweest om het af te krijgen. Maar ik ben nu tenminste op tijd.

Voor dit kaartje heb ik DP van Pion Design gebruikt. Verder heb ik het rustig gehouden omdat ik veel gebruik heb gemaakt van  glitterembossingpoeder en dat vond ik wel voldoende.  Ik heb het gelukkige bruidspaar ingekleurd met Copics.

This time we had to make a card/creation with Edwin and Tilda. I made a wedding card for my neighbors.  A perfect card  to use the Ideal Magnolia Couple. Normally I wait until the last moment with cards for special occasions. I can remember that I had to make a card for a family member, I had to work on it during the whole night to finish it on time.  So now I am on time.  They are going to marry in June or July. I used DP from Pion Design. I did not use many embellishments or other materials because I did work a lot with Glitter embossingpowder . I colored the happy couple with Copics.

Inventory Challenge 73 Your in shape but no square or rectangle

Moet zeggen dat dit één van mijn leukste kaartjes is geworden. Waarom weet ik niet maar misschien omdat het voor een baby is ??? Ik heb een wiebelkaart gemaakt  en daar de Magnolia die So Wrapped Lovely op bevestigd. Deze heb ik vergroot met de software van mijn snijmachine, was wel even wat werk maar dan heb je ook wel wat LOL. Daaraan heb ik weer een kleine gehangen met Twain. Binnenin de grote tag (noem het maar even zo) heb ik een gedichtje  gestempeld. Dmv een magneet blijft  de grote tag dicht zitten.  De letters heb ik ook met mijn snijmachine uitgesneden. Heb ingekleurd met distressinkt.  Ik heb dit kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder die het weer cadeau geeft aan mijn nichtje. Mijn nichtje woont in Engeland en komt in April naar Nederland met haar baby. Dat is de reden waarom zij het nu pas krijgt( haar dochter was geboren in Januari).

I have to say that i think this is one of my prettiest card i have made. Don’t ask me why, maybe because it is for a baby??? I made a wiggle card and I have put the Magnolia So Wrapped Lovely onto that. I have resized the die with the software of my cutting machine, it was quite some work but then you have something LOL.  I have fasten the little one to the big one with some twain. Inside the big one I have stamped a poem. For keeping the big one closed I have used some magnets. I have cut the fonts also with my cuttingmachine. I did the coloring with distressink. I made this card for my mother and she is giving it to my niece as a present for her newborn baby. The reason why she is getting her present so late(the baby was born in January) is because she lives in England. In April she is coming to the Netherlands.

Gastdesigners kaartje voor de Dutch Magnoliachickies

Hier dan mijn kaartje als gastdesigner voor de DutchMagnoliachickies challengeblog. De opdracht is maak een creatie met als thema Pasen en/of lente. Denk dat mijn kaartje voor alletwee door kan gaan. Heb dit keer hele andere kleuren gebruikt als de laatste creaties die ik geplaatst heb. Was even wennen. Ook heb ik dit keer gekozen om in te kleuren met distress inkt wat ook weer even wennen was.                                                                                            Het papier is van Pion Design Fairytale of Spring. De bovenkant van de achtergrond van Tilda heb ik met een cover a card stempel van Impression Obsession(Butterflies) gedaan. Heb de stempel eerst beïnkt met Versamark daarna Brilliance Crimson er overheen. Toen gestempeld op Craft en daarna met WOW embossingpoeder Neutral Ultra Shimmer geëmbost. Geeft een súperleuk glitter effect. De overige materialen die ik gebruikt heb staan verderop in dit bericht. Als je mee wilt doen dan hoef je alleen maar even hier te klikken.

I made this card as guestdesigner for the Dutch Magnoliachickies challengeblog. You have to make a creation with the theme Easter/Spring. I think my card is for both occasions. This time I have used totally different colors as my last few creations. I have also colored with distress ink instead of using my Copics.

The DP is from Pion Design Fairytale of Spring. The top of the background behind Tilda I did with a cover a card stamp from Impression Obsession and is called Butterflies. First I have inked the stamp with Versamark after that with Brillance pearlescent Crimson. Then I stamped on a piece of craft paper and embossed it with WOW embossingpowder Neutral Ultra Shimmer. Inventory challenge 72 Make a scene !!!

Ten eerste wilde ik nog even vertellen dat ik met mijn kaartje van 2 weken geleden de TOMIC prijs heb gewonnen en ik zat in de TOP3 van de Dutch Magnoliachickies challenge . Voor de laatsgenoemde mag ik voor aankomende challenge(aankomende week al) als gastdesigner iets maken. Erg spannend.

Voor de inventory challenge heb ik een tent kaart gemaakt. Ik had deze nog nooit gemaakt en moet zeggen is best wel leuk om te maken als alles wilt lukken LOL. Ik heb hem gecombineerd naar het idee van een step-kaart, ook nog nooit gemaakt. Heb dit keer geen materialenlijst en de kleuren copics niet vermeld. Heb er zo ontzettend veel gebruikt en ik was zo ontzettend laat klaar met de kaart dat ik daar eingelijk niet zo veel zin meer in had. In ieder geval zijn alle stempels en stansen van Magnolia. Alleen de achtergrondstempel(digi) is van Make It Crafty,  dit was echt een drama met inkleuren maar heb hem toch gebuikt, Tilda hangt ervoor dus dan valt het niet zo op. Alleen de heuvels zijn echt lelijk geworden maar de rest valt wel mee. Alle bloemen komen bij WOC vandaan, Aya van Miekelotte heeft er ook heel wat in het assortiment. Het papier is van Prima Marketing. Hier en daar heb ik nog wat stickles gebruikt.
Mijn teamgenoten hebben natuurlijk ook weer hele mooie creaties gemaakt dus als je even tijd hebt!!!

First i want to share with you that i have won the TOMIC price with my card from 2 weeks ago and also I came in the TOP 3 of the Dutch Magnoliachickies challengeblog. Next week I am going to make something as a guestdesigner for them.  So, I am very excited.

For the inventory challenge I have made I tent card, for the first time. It’s fun to make if everything is going the way that it should be LOL. I have combined it with a step card also that one I have never made before. This time I have no material list or a Copic list. I have used so many and I have finished my card very, very late so I did not have the sense to do that. I had to write my blog story in dutch and English and that costs me always a lot of time. But  I love to do the translation!!!                        All my stamps and dies are from Magnolia, only the background is a digi from Make It Crafty, this was a terrible stamp to color and it’s terrible  to see but I have used it anyway because Tilda is sitting on the swing so you can hardly see it LOL.  Only the hills are very bad, the rest is OKE. The flowers I have used are all from WOC and the paper is from Prima Marketing. I have also used stickles on some parts of my card.
My lovely friends have also made some amazing projects for this weeks challenge.

Inventory challenge 71 inspired by Spring

Heb voor het eerst gebruik gemaakt van een achtergrond stempel. Ik heb ze nooit gebruikt omdat je zoveel moet kleuren en dan vaak ook nog grote oppervlaktes. Ik heb Angela om een beetje advies gevraagd. Zij kan ontzettend mooi inkleuren met Copics en maakt ook hele mooi scènes op haar kaarten.

Met deze kaart wil ik ook meedoen met de Magnolia-Licious Challenge.
Voor dit kaartje heb ik het nieuwste papier van MME Miss Caroline gebruikt. De geschulpte rand heb ik gemaakt van strookjes papier en daarna met behulp van een Spellbindersstans schulpjes gemaakt. Dit heb ik per strookje gedaan. Daarna naast elkaar op een stukje cardstock geplakt en met een kleine zig zag steek genaaid. De bloemen heb ik  gemaakt met een stans van Crealies en de kern met een brad welke ik met de i-top tool gemaakt heb.  Heb ook nog de Doohicky So Wrapped lovely en Lovely Fence gebruikt. Natuurlijk kan Tilda with lamb ook niet ontbreken.  Als je even op de namen klikt kunnen jullie zien wat de andere weer hebben gemaakt.

Alle Magnolia stempels en stansen komen bij Miekelotte vandaan.

Stiching with the sewingmachine

For the first time i have used a background stamp. I never used them before because it is a lot of coloring and also they have big areas to color. I had asked Angela for a little advise.  I always admire the way she colored her images. And she makes also beautiful scenes on her cards.

I am entering this card  for the Magnola-Licious Challenge.
For this card I have used the DP from MME Miss Caroline. The scalloped border I have made from little strokes of paper and then I made the scallops with a Spellbinder die. After that I have glued them on a piece of cardstock next to each other and stitched them with a small zig zag stich. The flowers I have made with a die from Crealies and the center with a brad which I made with the i-top tool.  Than I have used the Doohickies So Wrapped Lovely and Lovely Fence and of course Tilda with lamb.
All the Magnolia stamps and dies are coming from Miekelotte

Vond de kleurencombinatie van de MDUC challenge wel een uitdaging. Had eerst het idee dat ik de verkeerde Tilda had genomen voor dit papier maar achteraf is die toch wel leuk geworden. Heb 2 verschillende papierlijnen gebruikt nl. Kaisercraft en Cratepaper.  Heb de mat gemaakt van de spellbinders die met mijn snijmachine.  Heb het jurkje van Tilda en sommige randjes bewerkt met stickles maar dat is dus niet te zien op de foto. Ik heb Tilda ingkleurd met de Copic Markers alleen de bloemen op de hoed zijn niet echt mooi geworden.

The colorcombo of the MDUC was really a challenge for me. I thought that I had used the wrong Tilda for this paper but it turned out OK. I have used DP from Kaisercraft and from Cratepaper. I made the mat with my cuttingmachine from the spellbinders die.  For the dress and on the edge I used stickles but you can not see it on the picture. I have colored Tilda with my Markers only i failed with the flowers on the hat.

Challenge 70 Use at least two different embossingfolders

Eerst wil ik mijn lieve vriendin Neline feliciteren met haar 40e verjaardag. Ze heeft een hele leuke verjaardagscandy op haar blog.
Deze week was echt een week voor mij dat dingen niet liepen zoals ik wilde en daardoor kwam ik in tijdnood voor de challenge maar ik heb het gered. Deze week moesten we gebruik maken van in ieder geval 2 embossing folders.  Ik heb er drie gebruikt 2 van sizzix en een impressability van Spellbinders.  Zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik veel gebruik gemaakt van verschillende Magnolia dies, ook de stempels zijn van Magnolia alleen de tekst is van Fiskars. Het papier is van Maja design. 

Voor de verandering heb ik ook de binnenkant van de kaart meegenomen werd toch al nachtwerk.

De afbeelding heb ik trouwens ingekleurd met de Copics. De volgende keer zal ik weer de gebruikte kleuren en gebruikte materialen vermelden.

First of all i want to congratulate my lovely friend Neline with her 40th birthday. She has a great birthday candy on her blog. 

This week was a week for me  that things were not going the way I wanted and because of that  I run out of time for the challenge but I have managed it. For this week we had to use at least two embossing folders. I used three folders, 2 from Sizzix and an impressability from Spellbinders. As you can see I have used a lot of dies from Magnolia also the stamps are coming from Magnolia except for the sentiment, this one is from Fiskars. The DP’s  are from Maja design. This time I did also something with the inside of the card, it was already past midnight in the Netherlands so one hour more or less ……..

I have colored Tilda with the copics. This time I have not the list of the colors I have used and also not the list of the materials/tools. I am sorry for that.  
I will enter this card also for the following other challenges;

Inventory challenge 69 You have been framed

De filmframe en filmcamera heb ik gemaakt in de Pazzles software en daarna uitgesneden uit chipboard met mijn snijmachine.  Beide heb ik daarna met de Distresss Walnutstain en Distress Stickles bewerkt. Tilda heb ik ingkleurd met distressink. Wilde haar in de eerste instantie inkleuren met Copics maar ik had mijn dag niet. Het wilde maar niet lukken en na 16x het jurkje ingekleurd te hebben ben ik maar overgegaan op distressink.  Heb alle kleuren copics maar kon niet de geschikte kleur vinden voor het jurkje en ik wilde perse het jurkje in rood/roze inkleuren.  De ballonnen heb ik gemaakt met de balloon die set van Whimsy stamps ook alle tekstjes komen daar vandaan.  

Een héél fijn weekend en misschien dat jullie ook nog even een kijkje willen nemen bij de andere leden van deze callenge.

I made the filmframe and filmcamera with my Pazzlessoftware and after that I cut the images from cardstock with the cuttingmachine. I colored them with Distress Stain Walnutstain and finished them with Distress Stickles Walnut Stain. It was my intention to color Tilda with my copics but I didn’t succeed with that. After an attempt of 16 times ( the dress) I decided to stop and  I colored her with the distressinks.  I have all the copic colors and I couldn’t find the right color for her dress en I wanted the dress to be in red/pink. I cut the balloons with the diecut set from Whimsy stamps also all the sentiments I have used are coming from that company. So, this was my contribution for this weeks challenge

Inventory challenge 68 Hearts and more Hearts

Eerst wil ik iedereen bedanken voor alle leuke berichtjes die jullie elke keer weer achter laten. Vind het altijd ontzettend leuk om te lezen.

Voor deze challenge moesten we iets maken met harten. Ik heb voor het prachtige DP, Lost en Found van MME, gekozen.  Ik had het idee voor deze kaart al helemaal in mijn hoofd zitten maar heb er evengoed nog lang over gedaan. Het grootse probleem was, wat moest ik rechts bovenin de hoek maken. Wilde natuurlijk iets met rozen maar wat ik ook deed vond het allemaal niks. Ik had de bloemen bij Suzi gezien op haar blog met organza en tule en was daar helemaal weg van. Had meteen verschillende kleuren via het internet besteld en het was gelukkig op tijd binnen.  Dus het probleem was opgelost. Daarna wilde ik mijn favoriete Doohicky heart swirl gebruiken maar nergens te vinden. Zoeken en zoeken, kostte  weer een hoop tijd natuurlijk en uiteindelijk lag hij, durf het haast niet te zeggen, in de prullenbak. Voor de rest liep het allemaal voorspoedig. Ik heb trouwens de Memorybox border en heart swirl met WOW glitter embossingpoeder bewerkt maar dat is jammer genoeg weer niet goed te zien op de foto's. Hoop dat jullie hem/haar leuk vinden. First of all i want to thank everybody for all the nice comments you always leave on my blog. I always love to read them.

For this challenge we had to make something with hearts. I used the beautiful DP, Lost and Found from MME. The idea for this card I had already in my head but nevertheless it took me a long time to finish it. The main problem was the upper right corner. I wanted to do something with roses but everything that I created was just not what I really had in mind. So when I saw the flowers  by Suzi on the blog I finally found what I was l so desperately looking for. So, I ordered some of that fabric on the internet and lucky me I received it on time. That problem was solved. Then I wanted to use one of my favorite DooHickey heart Swirls but could not remember where I put it???  I looked everywhere and you will not believe it but I recovered it from the trashbin next to my desk where I had erroneously “stored” it. I heat embossed The memorybox border and heartswirl with WOW glitter embossing powder but unfortunately you cannot see the beautiful effect, what it gives, on the picture. I didnot encounter any more problems so I finished it to my complete satisfaction and the result you can see on the pictures.  Hope you like it too !

Inventory challenge 67 Love from my Kitchen

Dat is was het thema van deze week. Ik wilde eerst een receptendoosje maken of een pop-up kaart maar het is dus een boek-kaart geworden. Vind hem erg leuk geworden. Het schortje aan de voorkant heb ik gemaakt met mijn Pazzles machine. Ik heb de stempel Kitchentilda ingescand en daarna van het schortje een snij bestand gemaakt. De kleine gaatjes zie je niet door het donkere papier.  Verder veel gebruik gemaakt van Magnolia stempels en dies. De stempels heb ik ingekleurd met Copic Markers, ben denk ik een hele dag bezig geweest. Alleen de appels zijn een beetje erg groen geworden.  Bijna alle Magnolia stempels en dies komen bij Miekelotte vandaan. Kijken jullie ook nog even naar wat voor moois de andere hebben gemaakt.

This was the theme for this week. First I wanted to make a recipe box or a pop-up card but finally I decided to make a book-card. I am very pleased with the result. I made the apron on the front with my Pazzles machine. I scanned the magnolia stamp Kitchen Tilda and made a cutting file of the apron that she is wearing.  You cannot see the little holes because of the dark DP. I have used a lot of Magnolia stamps and dies. I colored the stamps with Copics, it took me a almost a whole day. Only the apples turned out a bit too green.  Almost all the Magnolia stamps and dies are coming from Miekelotte.  So let see what for beautiful creations my other friends have made for this weeks Inventory Challenge.

Inventory challenge 66 Buttons&Bows

Hier dan mijn eerste kaartje voor deze challenge. Vanaf deze week ben ik lid van deze groep. Het lijkt me erg leuk om hieraan mee te doen.  Dit is dus mijn inbreng. De grote strik hen ik gemaakt met de bow-easy, heeft me ongeveer 20 minuten gekost om hem zo te krijgen. Was een beetje lastig met 2 lintjes en een 2 stukjes twine, de andere 2 heb ik met een ander hulpje gemaakt en dat ging een stuk makkelijker. Sommige knopen heb ik van papier gemaakt met behulp van de die round buttons van Memory box, daarna afgewerkt met Glossy accents. De strikken en knopen heb ik met behulp van lijmpistool vast gemaakt. Deze gebruik ik tegenwoordig vaak want dan weet ik dat het in ieder geval vast blijft zitten. Alle andere materialen die ik gebruikt heb zet ik onderaan dit berichtje. Ik heb Tilda met de Copics ingekleurd en terwijl ik dat deed zat ik ondertussen het filmpje van Zoe te bekijken, zei laat het allemaal heel duidelijk zien op haar filmpjes. Ben benieuwd wat jullie van mijn eerste challenge kaartje vinden. Willen jullie ook de prachtige creaties zien van de andere dames klik dan snel op de namen verder in dit bericht.

This is my first card for this challenge. From this week on I am a proud member of this Inventory challenge. Seems like a lot of fun to participate with this group. So, this is my first entry. I made the big bow with the bow easy, it took me about 20 minutes to get it the way I wanted. I used two ribbons and 2 pieces of twine. I made the little bows(1 ribblon, 1 piece twine) with another tool which worked a lot easier. Some of the buttons I made with the round buttons die from Memory box, after that I finished them with Glossy Accents. I glued the bows and buttons with the hot glue pistol. Nowadays I always use this tool to glue buttons, bows and flowers so I know for sure that they will stay on forever.  I have colored Tilda with my copics behind the laptop watching the You Tube video’s from Zoe, great copic teacher.
