Vintage Nieuw Jaar

Vanmiddag is de nieuwe Challenge van Miekelotte begonnen en het het thema was Nieuw Jaar. Ik heb dit keer een vintageafbeelding genomen en deze van het internet gehaald.Ook heb ik verschillende stansen gebuikt van Magnolia en Marianne Design en de klok van Tim Holtz, deze en het Vintage plaatje heb ik bewerkt met Wow embossingpoeder. Verder de kaart nog wat opgeleukt met wat roosjes. Het hangertje is een stans van Marianne design welke geschrinkt dmw van het gebruik van Shrink Plastic.

This afternoon a new Challenge has started by Miekelotte is Challenging you, the Theme was
 New Year. This time I used a vintage image from the internet. I used several dies from Magnolia and Marianne Design and one of Tim Holtz, I used for the last one and the image Wow Embossingpowder.  For the embellishment I used a die from Marianne design and used shrink plastic for it. Some roses for finishink touch. Almost all the materials for this card you can get by Miekelotte.

Miekelotte is challenging you: Christmas ornament

Vandaag is dus de eerste challenge van Miekelotte is Challenging you van start gegaan. Súper spannend allemaal. Het is dus de bedoeling om een Kerst ornament te maken. Ik heb hiervoor een ornament uitgesneden met mijn Pazzles machine. Voor de ene kant heb ik een stempel van Stampendous gebruikt en gestempeld met distressinkt en daarna met een waterbrush iets uitgevaagd. Verder heb de techniek van een schudkaart gebruikt. Daar om heen heb ik allemaal hulstblaadjes(die van Tim Holtz)geplakt, de randjes van de blaadjes heb ik allemaal bewerkt met Wow embossingpoeder Brass metallic glitter. De rest heb ik afgewerkt met een poinsetta(creatable Marianne design) en een strik.

Today is the first Challenge of Miekelotte is Challenging you. You have to make a Christmasornament. I cut my ornament with the Pazzlesmachine. For one side I used a stamp from Stampendous and stamped it with distressink and faded it out with a waterbrush. Also I used the shakercardtechnique. Round the image I glued holly leaves(die Tim Holtz) and I embossed the edges of the leaves with Wow embossingpowder Brass Metallic Glitter. Than I finished the side with a poinsette(creatable Marianne design) and  a bow.

Voor de andere kant heb ik een tekststempel van Tim Holtz gebruikt, geëmbost met Brass metallic gold, en het rendier is weer een die van Tim. Het hekje is van Magnolia en daar heb ik ook nog een belletje aan gehangen. En nu ook weer afgewerkt met poinsetta's van Marianne design en een strik.
De randjes heb ik gedistrest met een tool en embossingpoeder Brass metallic gold glitter. De meeste materialen zijn verkrijgbaar bij Miekelotte.

For the other side I usde a sentiment from Tim Holtz, embossed it with Brass metallic gold, and the reindeer is a die from Tim. The fence is from Magnolia and I put a bell on it. Again I finished it with poinsett's from Marianne design and a bow. I distressed the edges with a tool and finished the with Brass metallic gold glitter. The most materials you can buy by Miekelotte.

Use a forgotten stamp, an old one….

Dat was het thema voor de Inventory  Challenge van deze week.  Ik heb niet echt stempels waarvan ik niet weet dat ik ze nog heb maar wel héél veel die ik nog nooit gebruikt heb.  De Magnolia stempel die ik voor mijn kaart heb gebruikt heb ik eigenlijk nog niet zo lang maar het is wel één van de eerste Magnolia’s jaar 2006, dus echt een oudje.  Toen ik deze stempel voor het eerst zag voor ik hem lelijk maar de langer ik er naar keek des te leuker ik hem vond en toen toch maar gekocht.  Om hem nog iets ouder te laten lijken hem ik hem met Utee embossingpoeder gecrackeld en daarna met distressinkt bewerkt. De rest van het kaartje spreekt voor zich.  Voor de binnenkant van de sterren tag heb ik de Magnolia Silent Night background gebruikt(heb er geen foto van gemaakt).
En……………… deze week is Elle bij ons team gekomen.
Misschien is het leuk om even te kijken wat Elle en mijn andere teamleden hebben gemaakt.

 This was the theme for this week’s Inventory Challenge.  I have a lot of stamps, the most I never used, but I know I have them so I have not really forgotten stamps. The Magnolia stamp which I have used for my card I bought recently. It is one of the first Magnolia’s, I think, year 2006, so an old-timer. The first time I saw this image I found it ugly but the more I looked at it the more I started to like it so I bought it. To make it older I used Utee  embossing powder to crackle the image and after that I  finished it with Distressink Brushed Corduroy.  For the inside of the Star Tag I have used the Magnolia Silent Night background( I did not make a picture of it).

And………………….Elle has joined the Inventory Challenge team this week. Welcome Elle!!!!!

Tilda with wreat

Het is denk ik wel bijna een jaar geleden dat ik mijn copics gebruikt heb. Eén van mijn goede voornemens voor het jaar 2012 is dus om de draad weer op te pakken daarmee. Ik zit altijd vol verwondering te kijken naar de mooi plooien die sommige maken in de kleding en dat wilde ik dus ook. Had eigenlijk een afbeelding moeten gebruiken die wat makkelijker is om daarmee te beginnen maar ben niet helemaal ontevreden. Op de jurk/jas na ben ik wel erg tevreden met het eindresultaat. Deze Tilda with wreat , jaar 2007, had ik al een hele tijd en zag er altijd tegen op om haar in te kleuren.  Het kaartje vind ik zelf erg mooi geworden. Met dit kaartje wil ik mee doen met de Christmas Challenge with sketches.

I think it is almost a year ago that i have used my copics. So one of my good intentions for the year 2012 is that I am going to use them more often. I always admire the beautiful folds in the cloths that some of you make and I wanted that to. I think I had to take another image for that because the Maggie I have used is not the easiest one to experiment with that technique. Except for the dress/coat(I still don’t know what she is wearing) I am pleased with the result of my coloring. Tilda with wreat , year 2007, is also an old one and I always looks against it to color her. With this card I will join the ChristmasChallenges with sketches.

A Lot of Snowflakes

Voor de eerste keer doe ik mee met de Challenge van Magnolia..  Ik had al vaker mee willen doen maar was altijd te laat en ook nu was de kaart weer op het laatste moment klaar. De witte achtergrond heb ik geëmbost met een stempel Cover A Card van ImpressionObsession. Ik heb hiervoor clear embossingpoeder gebruikt. Daarna heb ik de randen gestikt en gedistressed en afgewerkt met Stickles Star Dust. De kleine en grote sneeuwvlok, van Spellbinders, heb ik bedekt met Diamond Dust, onwijs gaaf spul en het glinstert zo prachtig. Daarna de tag. Ik heb de Scalloped Tag, Magnolia, eerst uitgestanst en daarna ingescand naar mijn software van mijn snijmachine(Pazzles). Ik heb daar een snijbestand van gemaakt en de tag langer gemaakt maar niet breder. Ik heb de tekst ”Sleighbells are you listening” erop gestempeld. Daarna de randjes met Faded Jeans gedistressed. Ik heb een redelijke oude Tilda gebruikt, het was denk ik één van mijn eerste die ik gekocht heb en volgens mij is het nu ook voor het eerst dat ik hem gebuik. Verschrikkelijk niet??!!! Ik heb haar met distress inkt ingekleurd. Voor de jas, muts en maillot heb ik de Refill Faded Jeans gebruikt. De sjawl, wanten en maillot heb ik ingkleurd met Iced Spruce(inktpad). Het haar met Vintage Photo(inktpad) en het gezicht met Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo en Worn Lipstick(inktpads). Het ovaal is trouwens ook van Spellbinders en heb ik ook gedistressed met Faded Jeans daarna met een distressing tool en afgewerkt met Star Dust. Het sneeuw heb ik gemaakt d.m.v. een embossing pen en wit embossingpoeder. Het papier is van Maja Design.

Alle Magnoliastempels en de Doohicky Scalloped tag komen bij Miekelotte vandaan.  Ook de WOW embossing poeders die ik gebruikt heb op deze kaart.

For the first time i made a card for the TOMIC . I wanted to play earlier but I always was to late and also now it was finished right on time. On the white cardstock I used an cover a card stamp snowflake from Impression Obsession and I embossed it with clear embossing powder after that was done  I stitch the edges. Then I distressed the edges and finished it with Stickles  Star Dust. I covered the small and big snowflake, both are from spellbinders, with Diamond Dust.  And then the tag. I have cut the Scalloped tag, from Magnolia, and I scanned it into my software of my cutting machine. I made a cutting file from it and made it longer but not wider.  On the tag I stamped the Magnolia sentiment “Sleighbells are you listening”.  I distressed it with Faded Jeans. For the Tilda I have used an old one, I think it is one of my first Magnolia stamps that I bought and i think it is also the first time now that I used it. Terrible isn’t it ???!!! I have colored her with distress ink. For the coat, hat and boots I used refill Faded Jeans. The scarf, mittens and maillot with Iced Spruced(inkpad). The hair with Vintage Photo(inkpad) and the face with Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick(inkpads). The oval is also a die from Spellbinders. The snow I made with white embossing powder and I used a embossing pen  for it also here I distressed the edges and I used Faded Jeans and Star Dust. The DP is from Maja Design.

All the Magnolia stamps and Doohicky Scalloped tag I have bought by Miekelotte. Also the WOW embossing powders which I have used for this card.

This is not the best English Translation but I think it is better than the Google Translation LOL.
