Babycard and a Happy 50th Anniversary

Alweer een babykaart. Hierna moet ik er nog één maken en dan heb ik het even gehad met de babykaartjes. Het wilde niet echt vlotten met dit kaartje maar uiteindelijk is die wel weer leuk geworden. Zoals jullie kunnen zien is het een easel card geworden en heb hiervoor de Grand Nestabilties gebruikt. Het papier is van Imaginisce Baby Powder.

Another baby card. I have to make another one and then I have had it for now with the baby cards. I can’t see a baby card anymore LOL. Things did not go the way i wanted but I am pleased with the result. As you can see it is an easel card and I used the Grand Nestabilities Circle for the shape. The papers are from Imaginisce Baby Powder.

Weddingcard

Voor de trouwkaart heb ik ook een easelkaart gemaakt. Ze zijn wel erg leuk om te maken. Hiervoor heb ik Maja papier gebruikt. Heb één Magnolia stempel gebruikt nl. Love Heart. Verder wel veel gebruik gemaakt van de dies van Magnolia en Chandeliers.

For the wedding card i have made again a easel card. They are very nice to make. The paper I have used is from Maja Design and the only stamp from Magnolia I have used is the Love Heart. I have used other products from Magnolia, dies and chandeliers.

Hello Sweet Baby Girl

Eindelijk weer eens een kaartje. Ik had hem al een tijdje klaar maar even de puf er niet voor om hem te plaatsen. Beetje druk gehad en dan de vakantie en tot slot nog wat gezondheidsproblemen. Maar het gaat nu weer allemaal beter dus we gaan er weer voor.

Het was een kaartje voor één van de begeleidsters van mijn zoontje. Hij woont sinds 1.5 jaar in een instelling voor verstandelijk gehandicapten samen met nog 5 anderen kinderen.

Voor het kaartje heb ik veel gebruik gemaakt van mijn Pazzles machine o.a. voor de vorm van de kaart en de tag. De Magnolia stempels(baby, mini cudly horse en swirl), papier, die komen bij Miekelotte vandaan zo ook de klok van Tim Holtz en het lintje waar de kaart aanhangt. Ik heb ingkleurd met distressinkt. Het idee van de tag zag ik op het blog van Debbie Dolphin, haar kaarten zijn echt prachtig om te zien.

At last another card. I already finished it some time ago but I just didnot feel up to posting it on my blog. A lot to do, holiday season and also some health problems kept me from it. I’m feeling much better now so we’re good to go again.

My son lives in an institution for mentally disabled since 1,5 years together with 5 other young kids. The card was for one of my son’s supervisors.

For the card I used a lot my Pazzles machine a.o. for the cardshape and the tag. The Magnolia stamps (baby, mini cudly horse en swirl), paper and die come from Miekelotte Same goes for the Tim Holtz clock and the ribbon. I coloured the card with distressink. The idea for the big tag i have from Debbie Dolphin, her cards are really awesome.

Farmer Tilda

Een kaart met toch wel een hollands tintje. Vind hem zelf erg leuk geworden. Was de bedoeling dat ik mee zou doen met de Challenge van WOC maar was te laat, had nog 2 uur de tijd.  Ik ga wel meedoen  met de Challenge van Make it Colourful. Via het blog van Angela (maakt ontzettende mooi kaarten en kan onwijs mooi inkleuren met de markers) ben ik hier terecht gekomen.
Voor dit kaartje heb ik weer gebruikt gemaakt van het DP van Maja Design, vond de Farmer Tilda er wel heel leuk bij passen, heb haar ingekleurd met mijn Copics.  Voor de border en blaadjes heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de stansen van Crealies de CL CS 11 en border 9. Ook weer gebruik gemaakt van de Nestabilities Scalloped squares and Heart. Alle bloemen komen uiteraard bij WOC vandaan. En voor ik het vergeet de tekst is van een stempel van Just Rite.

A card with a Dutch touch. I am very pleased with the result. It was my intention to join the Challenge from WOC with this card but i was to late, i had 2 hours left.
Again i used the beautiful DP from Maja Design, i thought that Farmer Tilda was the right Maggie for this paper, i have colored her with my copics. I have used dies from Crealies, for the border and leaves, the CL CS 11 and border 9. Also i used some Nestabilities, Scalloped squares and Heart. Ofcourse all the flowers are coming from WOC and the sentiment is from Just Rite.

Boekkaart & Tilda with Spoon menu kaart

 Voor beide kaarten heb ik het beeldschone papier gebruikt van Maja design. Schitterend papier.

For both cards i used the beautiful  Designpaper from Maja design.  

De boekkaart heb ik gemaakt voor mijn zwager en zus. Zij waren 16 Mei 25 jaar getrouwd. De reden waarom ik zo laat ben met plaatsen is dat ik het af had op de dag dat ze het kregen en had dus geen tijd meer om de foto’s te maken. Dus later weer even teruggehaald en de foto’s gemaakt. Vond het erg leuk om te doen en ga er zeker nog één maken. Het was de bedoeling dat ik Magnoliastempeltjes zou gebruiken maar het zat een beetje tegen met het verkleinen dus toen alleen maar de magnolia Dies gebruikt, 5 verschillende nl. Romantic Tag, Dream Tag, the Leaf and Swirl (alleen de swirl gebruikt), Magnolia Tree(allen de vlinders gebruikt) and the Swirly butterfly. De rozet heb ik gemaakt met de Tim Holtz rozetmaker, is echt ideaal als je een snelle rozet wilt hebben. Het hart met  het gedichtje erop is weer een Spellbinders mal en uiteraard de pons van Martha Stewart Doily lace gebruikt. En glitter mag natuurlijk ook niet ontbreken bij een 25 jarige bruiloft. De gedichtjes heb ik van het internet gehaald.

This bookcard i made for my brother- in- law and sister. They were married for 25 years on the 16^th of May. The reason why I am so late with showing it on my blog is that I finished it on the day that I had to giveit to them so I had no time to make the photo's anymore. So I couple of days later I made thePhoto's. It was a nice project to make so I am sure I will make one again. It was my intention to use some Maggies but I had some trouble to make them smaller so I only used 5 different Magnolia Doohicky’s: Romantic Tag, Dream Tag, the Leaf and Swirl(only the Swirl), Magnolia Tree(only the little butterflies and the Swirly butterfly. The rosette I made with the Tim Holtz Rosette maker , is a perfect die when you need a quick rosette. The heart with the Poem is from Spellbinders and ofcourse I used the punch Doily lace from Martha Stewart and also a lot of glitter. By the way the poems I have from the internet.

 

Kookavondje

Het volgende projectje was 8 menu kaartjes maken. Op zaterdag 21 Mei had ik een kookavond met 7 dames. Eens in de twee/drie maanden koken we bij elkaar. Diegene die de avond geeft kiest het menu en haalt de boodschappen en de dames die komen moeten het dan klaarmaken. Dus de avond ervoor moest ik nog 8 menukaartjes maken. Niet te moeilijk maar als je er acht moet maken ……. gaat toch een hoop tijd in zitten. Ik wilde hiervoor de stempel Cooking Tilda en het tekststempeltje gebruiken maar het lukte dus niet meer om deze in te kleuren dus de dames mochten hem niet meenemen zodat ik dit alsnog kon doen. Moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik dit(8 dezelfde afdrukjes inkleuren) niet meer zo snel ga doen. Verder vind ik ze wel leuk geworden. Ook hier weer de rozetmaker van Tim Holtz gebruikt.  Ook hier heb ik een pons gebruikt van Martha Stewart Deep Edge punch Leaves and Branche. Verder wat lint en een beetje glitter gebruikt.

On Saturday the 21th of May i had a cooking evening with 7 other ladies. Once in the two/three months we are cooking together and this time it was my turn.  So I had to choose the starter, the main course and the desert.  I also had to do the shopping. The ladies who were coming must prepare the diner. So, the evening before I started with the menu cards(to late I know).  Not very difficult but I had to make eight of them…… so that was taking a lot of time. I wanted to use Tilda with spoon and also the sentiment is from Magnolia but I had not the time anymore to color them so they had to leave them behind so I could finished them. I must honestly say that I will not do this again( to color eight of the same images) very soon, but I am very pleased with the result. Again I have used the rosette maker of Tim Holtz. And also a punch from Martha Stewart the Deep Edge punch Leaves and Bracnche. Other materials; ribbon, a little gliter.

Glitter and Glamour

Ik heb voor deze kaart veel rhinestones gebruikt en veel glitter. Was een beetje bang dat het teveel was maar het kan. Verder wilde ik mijn eigen daffodils maken maar heb toch maar Cherry Blossoms gebruikt en de kern iets bij elkaar geknepen zodat een beetje op een Daffodil lijkt, denk ik. Verder heb ik alles gedistressed met Brushed Corduroy en de blaadjes met Pine Needles. Ga even een paar dagen weg maar hoop snel weer wat te plaatsen.

For this card i have used a lot of Rhinestones and a lot of glitter. I was afraid it was to much but I am happy with the result. I hope you can see all the glitter and glamour on the photo. I want to made the Daffodils myself but instead I have used Cherry Blossoms and I squeeze the centre together so it looks a bit like a daffodil, I think. I have distressed all the edges with Brushed Corduroy and the leafs with pine Needles. I am going on a holiday for a few days so till next time.

Een dochter

 Ben de laatste week erg druk geweest met het één en ander dus het heeft weer even geduurd voordat ik weer wat kon maken.

Het was de bedoeling dat ik dit kaartje simpel zou houden maar dat is "helaas" niet gelukt. Je kan ook niet echt een kaartje noemen maar ik ben er súper tevreden over. Heb al vele complimentjes gehad op de stempelbeurs in Zeist. Ik heb op de stand van Miekelotte gestaan.

Normaal zet ik altijd de materialen bij die ik gebruikt heb maar dat doe ik dit keer even niet want anders wordt het een hééééél lang verhaal. Heb nl best wel veel gebruikt.

Het papier heb ik bij Scrap&More vandaan, vind het helemaal súper. Ik heb het ook voor een jongen. De Magnoliastempels(baby en beertje) komen bij Miekelotte vandaan en het beertje heb ik wat kleiner gemaakt met de scanner. Voor het doosje heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de borderstans van Crealies,border11, deze heb ik ook gebruikt voor de achterkant waar de naam op staat. Vind ze erg leuk die borderstansen omdat ze niet zo grof zijn. Denk dat de rest wel duidelijk is wat ik gedaan heb met het doosje. En als laatste heb ik ook veel gebruik gemaakt van mijn Pazzelssnijmachine, voor het doosje, the tags en voor de naam. Heb ook héél veel glitter gebruikt maar dat is niet te zien op de foto's.

 The last few weeks i was very bussy with other things so again it took a long time to make something.

When i started with this card it was the intention to keep it simple but  "unfortunately" LOL. I am very proud with the result. Last weekend i was helping on a stampevent in Zeist by Miekelotte and i received a lot of compliments. Is always nice. I have not a material list because i  used a lot for this card and otherwise the story will be very long. I have bought the DP by Scrap&More, i find very,very nice paper. I also have it for a boy. The Maggies(baby and bear) are coming from Miekelotte. I scanned the bear to make it a bit smaller. For the top of the round box i have used a borderdye from Crealies, border 11. This border i have also used for the piece of paper behind the paper where i have put the name on. I find those dies very nice to work with. I think the rest is clear what i did with the box. I also used my Pazzelsmachin for the box and the labels and the name. I also used a lot of glitter but you can hardly see that on the pictures.

Verjaardagskaart & Paastag

Het is een hele tijd geleden dat ik met distressinkt heb ingekleurd. Dus vandaar dat ik dit keer voor het distresskleuren heb gekozen, was wel weer even wennen. Is toch een hele andere techniek als met de copics. Normaliter had ik bij het DP papier voor de verjaardagskaart voor Copics gekozen omdat ze qua kleur toch wat sprekender zijn maar ik moet zeggen dat de kleuren distressinkt die ik hiervoor heb gebruikt toch ook wel erg mooi zijn. De brad heb ik gemaakt met de I top tool moet hem toch vaker gaan gebruiken want ik vind de bloem toch wel super mooi geworden en dat geld ook voor de Crealies mallen.

It is a long time ago that I have colored with distressink. So that’s why I have chosen to color the images for the card and tag with the ink. Normally I had chosen for copics by this kind of DP because of the colours but I must say that the colours of the distressink I have used are not very bad at all. For the brad I used my I Top tool, I have to use him more often even as my Crealies dies( I made the flowers with them)

De tag heb ik gemaakt voor Aya (Miekelotte) als voorbeeldje. Bijna alle materialen zijn te koop bij haar. In ieder geval de Magnoliastempels, het papier, de stans en het witte lint) Het roze lintje kan qua kleur net aan. Heb zovééééééél kleuren roze maar net weer niet de juiste, maar daar zullen velen wel last van hebben LOL.

The tag i made for Aya(Miekelotte) as a sample. Almost all the materials I have used you can buy  in her shop. The Maggies, the DP, the Doochicky and the white ribbon. I was not sure if I could use the pink ribbon for the tag because it is another color pink than the paper but OK. I have sooooooooooo many ribbons but not the color that I needed, but I think I am not the only one with this problem LOL.

Ik ben er ontzettend blij mee. Ik heb Debby ontmoet bij Angelique. Wij hebben daar een workshop gevolgd inkleuren met distressinkt. Een aanrader!!!
Eigenlijk via blogland contact met elkaar gehouden. De ene keer zijn mijn bezoekjes wat minder als de ander keer maar soms heb/gun me de tijd niet om een bezoekje te brengen. Het is ook zeker een aanrader om eens een kijkje te nemen op de blog van Debby, hele lieve , leuke en prachtige kaarten. Sweet Baby Boy

Hier dan mijn eerste kaartje voor 2011, tenminste denk dat het niet echt onder een kaartje meer valt. Maar ik ben er erg tevreden over. Zoals gewoonlijk heb ik weer tot het laatste moment gewacht met het maken ervan, wist nl al een paar maanden dat de baby geboren zou worden eind December en dat het een jongetje zou worden. Vanochtend vroeg heb ik het laatste afgewerkt en toen een paar uurtjes geslapen en vroeg eruit om foto’s te maken. Mijn ouders gingen vandaag op kraamvisite, bij mijn nichtje, dus ze kwamen de kaart om kwart voor tien halen.Ik had voor de zekerheid maar wel even de wekker gezet ha,ha,ha.

De prachtige bloemetjes van Wild Orchid Craft zijn nu ook bij Miekelotte te koop , het voordeel is dat je geen hele partij hoeft te kopen van één soort. Ze heeft héél veel soorten maar natuurlijk niet alles.

Normaal ben ik altijd te laat maar héél toevallig moest je een kaart maken met de stempels die ik ook heb gebruikt.

Here my first card for 2011, although I doubt whether you can still call this a card. I'm nevertheless pretty satisfied with the result. As usually I waited far too long to start with it. Already for months I knew the baby would be born by the end of December and I also knew that it would be a baby boy. Just early this morning, or should I say very very late last night, I finished it. After only a few hours of sleep I got up and took some pictures. All just in time before my parents came to pick up the card around 10 this morning since they had scheduled the maternity visit for today. I think I will now take a well-deserved nap.

 I am using this card for the following challenge Totally Tilda Challenge. Normally i am always to late but you had to make a card with one of the images which i used for my cardcreation. So i was lucky.

Reindeer Tilda

Zoals beloofd weer een kaartje. Het is niet zo geworden als ik in mijn hoofd had en ook zaten sommige dingen een beetje tegen, maar dat hebben we allemaal weleens denk ik. Het kruissteekje bovenaan heb ik met de naaimachine gedaan. Tenminste de gaatjes dus vandaar dat het niet helemaal in het midden zit. Het inkleuren ging wel goed ben erg tevreden over de kleur rood. Het gezicht vind ik niet zo, dat heb ik in de avond ingekleurd met verkeerd licht, maar het kan nog net. De pin heb ik zelf gemaakt, de rode kralen zijn Swarovski. Ik had ze nog liggen en vond de kleur rood erg mooi anders had ik ze natuurlijk niet gebruikt.De rest van de avond ga ik mijn hobbykamer opruimen het is een totale chaos hier.

As promised another card. The result is not what I had in mind, but OK it’s not the worst card I have made ha,ha. Just kidding. The criss cross stitch I did with the sewing machine, only the holes and the rest by hand. That’s why it is not correctly centered. I have colored Tilda with my copics and I am very pleased with the result, especially the red part. The face is not so good but I did that with the wrong light. The pin I have made by myself and I used red Swarovski beads. It is a bit expensive but the red color is beautiful and I had them laying in my closet so……… The rest of the evening i am going to clean my craftingroom it is a chaos over here.

Eindelijk dan weer eens een kaartje. Echt een tijd geleden maar soms heb je soms heb je weleens andere dingen te regelen die voor gaan. Ook help ik Aya van Miekelotte in haar (web)winkeltje en help haar ook op verschillende hobbybeurzen. Erg vermoeiend maar ook weer erg leuk.


Maar ik ben wel weer van plan om wat meer kaartjes te gaan maken, heb er weer véél zin in en de volgende is ook alweer bijna klaar, hoop op morgen maar anders zeker maandag.

Finally a card. It is really a while ago but sometimes you have some other things to do that are more important. Also I am helping Aya from Miekelotte with her (web)shop and I also helping her on craft events(hobby fairs). It is fun to do but I always glad when the last day is on his end.

But I am planning to make more cards from now of on and the next one is almost finished. So I hope I will share it with you tomorrow and otherwise it will be on Monday.

Kerstkaart-Christmascard

Voor deze kaart heb ik mijn naaimachine uit de kast gehaald. Bijna alle laagjes zijn gestikt. De kleine driehoekjes met een hele kleine zigzagsteek en de vierkante laagjes met een normale stiksteek. De retro bloem heb ik mijn airbrush gebruikt. Eerst een bloem uitgeponst toen met een lichtgroene marker geairbrushd daarna met een impressability(Spellbinders) geëmbost en toen met een tint donkerder weer geairbrushed. Vind het net fluweel. De kleine roosjes zijn van Wildorchidcrafts. Voor de achtergrond van Tilda with Yulehat heb ik met de cuttlebug embossing stencil snowflake gebruikt en afgewerkt met glitter. Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Normaal vertel ik altijd welke materialen/ gereedschappen ik gebruikt heb maar ik had een beetje haast dus dat doe ik weer bij de volgende kaart.

For this card I did a lot of stitching. I  used 2 kinds of stitches, for the little triangles the zig zag stitch and for the other layers the normal stitch. For the retro flower I used my copic airbrush. First I punched the retro flower than I airbrushed it with light green (copic) than I embossed it with an Flourish Impressability from spellbinders and after that I airbrushed it it with a darker color. It looks just like velvet . The little roses are from Wildorchidcrafts. I embossed the background for Tilda with Yulehat with a cuttlebug embossing stencil snowflake and then I put some glitter on it. I have colored Tilda with Copic Markers. Normally i always give a list with the materials/tools i have used but i was a littlebit in a hurry.

Gold Tilda !!!!

Voor deze kaart heb ik wit cardstock ingesprayed met Spray&Sparkle Gold van Crafters Companion. Ideaal voor dit soort doeleinden ook de roosjes heb ik er mee ingespoten. Geen geklieder en wachten dat het droog is. Ik heb het gekocht bij Miekelotte. Het bestaat ook in zilver, iridescent en nog een soort. Daarna heb ik strookjes gesneden en dit ook gedaan met het papier van Magnolia en toen in elkaar gevlochten. Moet zeggen dat ik het resultaat erg leuk vind. De randjes van het Magnoliapapier heb ik met glossy-accents gedaan en daarna goud glitter erover gestrooid. En als finishing touch natuurlijk veel roosjes van Wildorchidcrafts.

For this card i have sprayed a piece of white cardstock with Spray&Sparkle Gold van Crafters Companion. I did also the white roses with the spray. It is great stuff, no mess and it dries very quickly. I have bought it by Miekelotte in the Netherlands and of course by Crafters Companion. You can buy it also in silver, iridescent and another color. After that I have cut thin pieces of the cardstock and I did that also with some papers of Magnolia and then I've woven them together. I must say that I was very pleased with the result. The edges of the other papers I did with glossy-accents and gold glitter. And for the finishing touch………. a lot of roses from Wildorchidcrafts.

Tilda with Tilda

Dit keer een kaart voor mijn schoonzusje gemaakt. Zij heeft afgelopen weekend deze mooie leeftijd bereikt. Ik heb dus zoals jullie zien een easelkaart gemaakt en door al die grote bloemen paste de kaart niet in een envelop en heb ik er dus maar een doosje bijgemaakt met de scor-it. Zoals gewoonlijk was ik weer op het laatste moment begonnen( ben 2 avonden tot héééél laat bezig geweest) en met daarbij een flinke verkoudheid verliep het hele projectje toch wel soepeltjes. Was ook weer een tijd geleden dat ik met Copics had gekleurd dus dat was ook wel weer even wennen. Het papier is van Tilda. Zo lief in combinatie met deze Magnolia Stempel.

This time a birthday card for my sister in law. Last weekend she became 50 years old. As you can see I made an easelcard for her and because of the big flowers the card did not fit in an envelope so I made a box for it with my scor-it. As usual I began very late with the card (for two evenings I was busy till over midnight) and despite a heavy cold I have to say that everything was going very smoothly. Also it was a while ago that I had colored with my copics so I had to practice a bit. The paper is from Tilda. I find the combination with the paper and Magnolia stamp Tilda with roses so sweet.

Happy fiftieth Birthday Aya

Vorige week is Aya, een lieve vriendin van mij, 50 geworden, en daarom heb ik een special kaart voor haar gemaakt. Aya heeft een internetwinkel, Miekelotte, met o.a. een giga assortiment aan Magnolia stempels, dies en papier en daarom wilde ik een echte Magnolia kaart maken voor haar. Alleen het paper is niet van Magnolia. De kaart heb ik gemaakt met mijn Pazzles machine. Ik vind het moeilijk om uit te leggen hoe ik bepaalde dingen heb gedaan met de kaart, dus dat doe ik dan maar niet. De naam Aya heb ik gemaakt met de Rhinestonesoftware.

Last week Aya, a dear friend of mine, had her fiftieth birthday. Aya owns an online store in th Netherlands, Miekelotte, and among other things she has a great assortment Magnolia products and that’s why I made a real Magnolia card. Only the paper is not from Magnolia. The shape card 50 I have made with my Pazzles cutting machine. It is difficult for me to explain what I exactly did with this shape card so I think it is for the best that I don’t do that LOL. The name Aya I made with the Rhinestonesoftware.
