Vandaag is weer de nieuwe challenge begonnen bij Miekelotte is Challenging you. Dit keer was het weer mij beurt om wat te maken als DT lid. Ik heb een tasje gemaakt aan de hand van een tutorial die ik bij Splitcoaststamper heb gezien. Je kunt hem hier vinden.
Today a new Challenge has started by Miekelotte is Challenging you. This time it was my turn to make something as a DT member. I made a giftbag you can find the tutorial here.

Bijn alle materialen die ik gebruikt heb komen bij Miekelotte vandaan. Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met Distress Ink. Eindelijk heb ik de goede kleur gevonden voor het gezicht. Ik heb de re-inkers Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo gemengd en in een apart pipetflesje gedaan.
Almost all the materials you can find in the webstore of Miekelotte. I have colored Tilda with Distress Ink. Finally I have find the right combination for the skin I always was struggling with it. I mixed the re-inkers Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo together and put it in a bottle.So now I start with Tattered Rose and for the shadow I use my own mix

Traktatie doosjes

Net zoals bij velen heeft het griepvirus mij ook te pakken gekregen afgelopen weekend. Was van zaterdag t/m woensdag toch wel uitgeschakeld en dat kwam helemaal niet uit.

Mijn zoon wordt a.s. dinsdag 16jaar en ik wilde als traktatie voor de juffen en meesters een doosje maken en dat moest natuurlijk vandaag af zijn want dan gaat hij weer naar zijn woning in Ermelo. Gisterenavond hebben wij zijn verjaardag thuis gevierd in Almere dus daar moest ik ook nog achterheen en dan nog zijn cadeau regelen. Maar goed met hulp van mijn zus is het toch nog gelukt.

Just like a lot of other people I had the flu, it started on last Saturday till last Wednesday. The problem was that my son has his 16 birthday next Tuesday and I wanted to make a candywrapper for his teachers at school. I had to finish them today because this evening he is going back to his other home. Yesterday evening, we celebrated his birthday at our home so I had to arrange that also and ofcourse  a birthdaypresent. But with help from my sister we fnished the boxes on time.

De materialen zijn onder andere van Stampin Up. Zal de volgende keer, als ik nog zoiets ga maken, wat meer uitleg geven.

Dinsdag a.s. ga ik met een taart naar Yoëll want dan is hij natuurlijk echt jarig.

Stampin-Up kaartje

Hier mijn eerste Stampin-Up kaartje. Ongeveer 2/3 weken geleden een mini party bij mijn thuis gehad. Deze werd gegeven door Pytsje Sjoukje. Helaas voor mij en mijn zus en moeder woont zij ook in Almere LOL. Nee hoor, het was echt helemaal leuk en hebben ook wat gemaakt. Kortom zeker de moeite waard om een keer een party door haar te laten verzorgen, of door een ander natuurlijk, bij je thuis. Het is tupperware maar dan op hobbygebied en eigenlijk is dit nog leuker. Ik moet zeggen dat het súpermooie artikelen zijn en ontzettend mooi op elkaar afgestemd. Papier, inkt, lint helemaal top. Ook heb ik mijn zoveelste papertrimmer aangeschaft en mijn hemel deze is echt geweldig. Geloof me ik heb echt veel geld verspild aan papiersnijders en daar baal ik nog steeds van maar deze......TOP!!!
I want to show you my first Stampin Up card. About 2/3 weeks ago I had a mini party at my place, only with my sister and mother. The demonstrator was Pytsje Sjoukje, she lives just around the corner from where I live. That's a big problem for me LOL. I don't need to explain to my foreign friends how SU is working because it is all american(I think). But I am in love, what a beautiful products,they are matching so well together, paper, ink, ribbon.... I also bought the papertrimmer and finally I have one that cuts straight, believe me I spent a lot of money for papertrimmers.

Alle stempels, inkten, ponsen en papier zijn van Stampin Up. Vind de kleuren zelf erg mooi.

All the stamps, inks, punches and papers are from SU. I think the colors are beautiful.

Paaskaart

Vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge bij Miekelotte weer en dit keer was het oa mijn beurt om wat te creëren. De challenge is dus om een Paascreatie te maken. Op de één of andere manier kom ik traag op gang dit jaar, eigenlijk elk jaar LOL. Dus vanaf nu, ik beloof het, komt er zeker 1x in de week wat op te staan. Dan nu mijn creatie.

Somehow I have a slow start this year, but to be honest that is every year LOL. But from now of I promise to post a card/creation every week. So, here is my card.

Ik heb verschillende stansen gebruikt: Doohickey's Magnolia, Marianne Design, Tim Holtz o.a de Birdcage. De laatste heb ik verkleind en uitgesneden met mijn Pazzlesmachine. Daar heb ik wat kralen aangehangen die ik nog had.Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met Distress Inkt.
Alle materialen, op het kantje na, komen bij Miekelotte vandaan.
I used several dies: Doohickey's Magnolia, Marianne Design, Tim Holtz . I reduced the size of the birdcage with my Pazzlesmachine and cut it out. Than I attach some glass beads. I have colored Tilda with distressink. All the materials, only not the lace, are coming from Miekelotte.

Hier ben ik alweer met mijn volgende kaartje. Beetje eng vind ik het wel LOL. Ik heb Tilda weer ingekleurd met distressinkt. Het gezichtje ga ik de volgende keer wat donkerder doen ben nog een beetje aan het expermimenteren met de huidskleur. Op de foto ziet ze erg bleek maar in het echt heeft ze wat meer kleur in haar gezicht. De hartjes in haar hand heb ik gedaan met TwinklingH20 alleen de rode heb ik bedekt met WOWglitterembossinpoeder Ruby Red ze waren nl niet mooi geworden.

De kleine hartjes op het craftcardstock heb ik met de naaimachine gedaan. Als laatste de brad bovenaan. Die vind ik zelf wel erg leuk geworden, deze heb ik met kraaltjes vastegeplakt daarna laten drogen en toen weer een laagje zodat er een bolletje onstond.

Dit was het weer. Bedankt voor jullie bezoekje en berichtjes, vind ze altijd erg leuk om te lezen.

Here I am again with my next card, I find it a little scary though LOL. I colored Tilda with distressink

The next time I intend to make the face a bit darker as I'm still experimenting with skincolour. On the picture she looks very pale but in reality she has some more colour in her face. The small hearts in her hand I colored with TwinklingH20. Just the red ones I covered with WOW glitter embossing powder Ruby Red since they turned out less pretty. The small hearts on the craftcardstock I did with the sewing machine. And last but not least the brad on the top. This one I like in particular , I used small beads and glued them onto the brad. First I dried it and then I applied another layer so a small bubble arose.

Valentijn voor Miekelotte's challenge blog

Vandaag is de nieuwe challenge van Miekelotte is challenging weer van start gegaan. Deze luid: maak een Valentijnscreatie.

Ik heb gekozen voor een labelkaart hiervoor heb ik de stans van Tim Holtz gebruikt. De achtergrond van Edwin heb ik gedaan met de zogezegde resisttechniek met clear embossingpoeder en distressinkt. Ben erg tevreden met het resultaat en het past perfect bij het Magnoliapapier. De achtergrondstempel is ook van Magnolia, de Old Valentineletter. Verder diverse Magnoliastansen gebruikt en het kaartje opgeleukt met wat roosjes en lint/kant. Tilda is geen mini maar heb ik met de computer uitgeprint. Zowel Edwin als Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met distressinkt. Op het lint/kant na komen alle materialen bij Miekelotte vandaan.

Today a new challenge has started by Miekelotte is challenging you.

Make a Valentine creation.

I have made a labelcard and used the die from Tim Holtz for it. I did the background behind Edwin with a resist technicque with clear embossingpowder and distressink. I am very pleased with the result and it looks beautiful with the Magnoliapapers. The stamp I used for this technique is the Old Valentine letter from Magnolia. Other materials I used are several dies from Magnolia, some lace and ribbon, flowers. Tilda is not a mini stamp but I did her with the computer and than I printed her.
I colored the images with distressink. All the materials except the ribbon and lace are coming from Miekelotte.
So, my next card is on his way. I spent the first couple of weeks of 2013 with organizing my stamps and there were a lot of them. So maybe I will show you and give you a little explanation , if you are interested, the way I do that. It is a lot of work but I am very pleased with it.

Vintage Nieuw Jaar

Vanmiddag is de nieuwe Challenge van Miekelotte begonnen en het het thema was Nieuw Jaar. Ik heb dit keer een vintageafbeelding genomen en deze van het internet gehaald.Ook heb ik verschillende stansen gebuikt van Magnolia en Marianne Design en de klok van Tim Holtz, deze en het Vintage plaatje heb ik bewerkt met Wow embossingpoeder. Verder de kaart nog wat opgeleukt met wat roosjes. Het hangertje is een stans van Marianne design welke geschrinkt dmw van het gebruik van Shrink Plastic.
Bijn al de materialen die ik voor mijn kaart gebruikt heb zijn verkrijgbaar bij Miekelotte.

 New Year. This time I used a vintage image from the internet. I used several dies from Magnolia and Marianne Design and one of Tim Holtz, I used for the last one and the image Wow Embossingpowder.  For the embellishment I used a die from Marianne design and used shrink plastic for it. Some roses for finishink touch. Almost all the materials for this card you can get by Miekelotte.

For a special friend

 Eindelijk dan weer eens een kaart met een Magnolia afbeelding. Ik heb deze kaart speciaal gemaakt voor iemand die héééél ver weg woont dus ik hoop dat hij aankomt. Gaat morgen op de bus. . Het is wel een hele klus geweest maar ben heel tevreden over het eindresultaat . Ik wilde eerst met mijn Copics inkleuren maar ik kon de juiste kleurcombinatie voor het groen niet vinden en toen maar overgegaan tot distressinkt. Ben er niet echt tevreden over en zal toch weer wat vaker moeten gaan kleuren. Ik heb geen lijst met gebruikte materialen vermeld want ik heb zoveel gebruikt, vooral stansen. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden en bedankt voor het langskomen.

Finally a card with a Magnolia image. I made this card for a special person who lives very far away. Tommorrow I will bring it to the postoffice so I hope it will arrive because their is also something in the pocket on the back of the card. It was quite some work but I am very pleased with the result. It was my attention to color with copics but I could not find the right color combo for the green so I decided to take my Distressink. I am not very pleased with the coloring and must color more often. Because I have used a lot of materials, especially dies, I made no list of it. I am very curious what you think about my project and thanks for stopping by.

Miekelotte is challenging you: Christmas ornament

Vandaag is dus de eerste challenge van Miekelotte is Challenging you van start gegaan. Súper spannend allemaal. Het is dus de bedoeling om een Kerst ornament te maken. Ik heb hiervoor een ornament uitgesneden met mijn Pazzles machine. Voor de ene kant heb ik een stempel van Stampendous gebruikt en gestempeld met distressinkt en daarna met een waterbrush iets uitgevaagd. Verder heb de techniek van een schudkaart gebruikt. Daar om heen heb ik allemaal hulstblaadjes(die van Tim Holtz)geplakt, de randjes van de blaadjes heb ik allemaal bewerkt met Wow embossingpoeder Brass metallic glitter. De rest heb ik afgewerkt met een poinsetta(creatable Marianne design) en een strik.

Today is the first Challenge of Miekelotte is Challenging you. You have to make a Christmasornament. I cut my ornament with the Pazzlesmachine. For one side I used a stamp from Stampendous and stamped it with distressink and faded it out with a waterbrush. Also I used the shakercardtechnique. Round the image I glued holly leaves(die Tim Holtz) and I embossed the edges of the leaves with Wow embossingpowder Brass Metallic Glitter. Than I finished the side with a poinsette(creatable Marianne design) and  a bow.

Voor de andere kant heb ik een tekststempel van Tim Holtz gebruikt, geëmbost met Brass metallic gold, en het rendier is weer een die van Tim. Het hekje is van Magnolia en daar heb ik ook nog een belletje aan gehangen. En nu ook weer afgewerkt met poinsetta's van Marianne design en een strik.
De randjes heb ik gedistrest met een tool en embossingpoeder Brass metallic gold glitter. De meeste materialen zijn verkrijgbaar bij Miekelotte.

For the other side I usde a sentiment from Tim Holtz, embossed it with Brass metallic gold, and the reindeer is a die from Tim. The fence is from Magnolia and I put a bell on it. Again I finished it with poinsett's from Marianne design and a bow. I distressed the edges with a tool and finished the with Brass metallic gold glitter. The most materials you can buy by Miekelotte.

Jeetje zag net dat ik in Mei iets voor het laatst geplaatst had. Maar goed het is niet anders en we pakken de draad gewoon weer op. Ik had natuurlijk een stok achter de deur met de Inventory Challenge maar er is een nieuwe uitdaging, een nieuw challenge blog.

 Miekelotte is Challenging you!!!

Aya vroeg mij of ik deze op wilde zetten en heb daarom de stoute schoenen aangetrokken. Aanvankelijk wilde we wat eerder beginnen maar wegens persoonlijke omstandigheden werd alles wat uitgesteld. Het word een hele leuke happening en hebben een ontzettend leuk en gevarieerd DT Team en iedereen kan meedoen. Of je nu een scrapbookpage maakt of alleen met stempeltechnieken werkt, kaarten maakt het maakt niet uit. Het wordt een heel gevarieerd Challengeblog. Wel zijn er wat voorwaarden, zoals op elk challengeblog, maar die staan op de site vermeld.

Even kort over mijn kaart die ik gemaakt heb. Mijn neef is precies op 31 Oktober jarig dus de perfecte gelegenheid om een Halloween kaart te maken. Ik vind dit soort kaarten súperleuk om te zien maar omdat ik niet zoveel heb met Halloween maak je er niet zo snel één. Ik geef er geen uitleg bij want volgens mij is het denk ik wel duidelijk wat ik zoal gedaan heb. Alleen de spin heb ik beplakt met flowersoft en met een stain zwart gemaakt zodat het net zo'n vieze harige spin lijkt.

Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal mee gaan doen met de Challenge die start op 29 Oktober.

Only a sentiment, no image

Voor de Inventory Challenge 83 heb ik een kaart gemaakt op basis van wat stempeltechnieken. Heb geprobeerd om in een paar stappen uit te leggen wat ik precies gedaan heb. Heb het alleen wel in het Engels gedaan. Maar wij Nederlanders zijn in alle talen thuis dus dat moet geen probleem zijn. Hier en daar zullen wel wat foutjes zitten.

For the inventory challenge 83 I made a card with a stamped background. I used some stampingtechniques. I will try to explain what I did  in a few(a lot of) steps . So this time a very short story.

1. I colored the base twice with Distess Stain Milled Lavender and let it dry between the layers.
2. I stamped with a stamp from Chocolate baroque Texture Fragments with versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossingpowder.
3. After that I distressed the card with Distress Ink Dusty Concord with a blendingtool.
4. I put the card between two papers(printer) and removed the clear embossingpowder with an iron.
5. Than I stamped with a Cover a Card stamp from Impression Obsession C-A-C Script and used Hero Arts Shadow Ink Wet Cement.
6. Again I distessed the edges with the blendingtool but now I used the color Shabby Shutters.
7. I made some glimmermist with Perfect pearls and I sprayed my card with it.(the problem we all have with the mist that you cannot see it on the photo)
8. And the finishing touch the flowers. For them I used a Chocolate Baroque stamp from the sheet The Rose Tree and inked them with Brilliance Ink Olive Green and pearlescent Crimson.
9. I cut the frame with my Cricut Machine and heatembossed it with WOW Embossing Glitter Magical Mauve.
10. I distressed the background (sentiment) with Dusty Concord and Shabby Shutters.
11. Again I used a stamp from Chocolate Baroque, sheet Fragrant Honysuckle, and stamped it with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Wet Cement.
12. Sprayed it with glimmermist.
13. The sentiment is also from Chocolate Baroque, Fresh Blooms. I heat embossed it with WOW embossingpowder Grape.

Ik hoop dat het allemaal een beetje duidelijk was. Alle stempels en veel van de inkten die ik gebruikt heb komen bij Posthumus vandaan. Verder wens ik jullie een héééél fijn en zonnig weekend en bedankt weer voor het langskomen.

Paper Piecing Challenge 82

Voor deze kaart heb ik Midsummer Tilda gebruikt. Denk dat het de eerste keer was dat ik de stempel gebruikt heb en tevens de laatste keer. Heb geloof ik wel 30 afdrukjes gemaakt maar hij wilde gewoon niet een goede afdruk maken(de lijnen zijn erg dik). Ook zit er een zwarte stip op haar gezicht die volgens mij daar niet hoort te zitten maar dus wel op de stempel zit.  Maar goed hoefde dit keer alleen de huid en haren  in te kleuren en daarom wat meer aandacht besteed aan de schaduw rondom. En moet zeggen dat ik die erg mooi vind geworden. Heb een tijdje geleden een copic boekje gekocht en daar staat dit o.a. in en ook nog veel meer handig tips. Heb dit keer voor het glitterrandje geen stickles gebruikt maar glossy accents met losse glitter. De steentje op het kroontje heb ik er zelf op geplakt. Ook wilde ik een witte zonnebloem gebruiken maar die had ik niet, alleen gele en cremekleurig. Helaas kan Danielle dit keer niet mee doen.

For this card I have used Midsummer Tilda. I think it is the first time I have used her but also the last time. I believe I have stamped her about 30 times and still he did not make the right print(the lines are to thick). Also there is a black spot on her face that doesn't belong there according to me.
This time I only colored the skin and the hair so I spent more time for the shadow round her and I have to say that I am very pleased with the result. A couple of weeks ago I bought the book Copic Coloring Guide 2 and they gave you a lot of tips also about the shadow around images. The rose on the tag is also paper pieced.  For the glitter part on my card I did not use stickles this time but glossy accent with glitter. The rhinestones on the charm(crown) I  added myself. Also I wanted to put a white sunflower on my card but I have only yellow and creme sunflowers.  Unfortunately Danielle can not join us this week. So, lets see what my friends have made.Cathylynn, Christina, Nadine, Elle, Kathy.

Moederdag-Mothersday Challenge 81

Een kaartje maken voor moederdag , jeetje,  dat doe ik normaal nooit. Ik heb een hele lieve moeder maar ook een hele lieve schoonmoeder en aangezien ik deze week niet zoveel tijd had, onze zoon Yoëll was een week thuis, om twee kaarten te maken heb ik besloten om een moederdagkaart voor mijzelf te maken uit naam van Yoëll. Vond het niet eerlijk om voor mijn moeder wel een kaart te maken en niet voor mijn schoonmoeder. Ik heb totaal iets ander gemaakt. Aangezien ik nog veel moet leren op het gebied van stempelen(technieken) heb ik wat inspiratie gehaald uit het blad Craft Stamper. Vooral voor de kleurencombinaties van de inkt.  Heb de prachtige Cover a card stempels van Impression Obsession gebuikt in combinatie met stempels van Chocolate Baroque. Beide merken zijn te koop bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam. Alleen de swirl is van Tim Holtz. Ik nodig jullie uit om ook eens een kijkje te nemen op de blogs van mijn Challenge vriendinnen met hun mooi creaties.

Making a card for Mothersday, oh my, normally I don't do that. I have a very sweet mother and also a very sweet mother in law and because our son Yoëll was a week at home I did not have the time to make two cards this week. So, I decided to make a mothersdaycard for myself in the name of Yoëll. I found it not fair to make a card for my mother and not for my mother in law. I have made something totally different this time. Because I have to learn a lot about stamping(techniques) I have used the Craft Stamper magazine for some inspiration. Especially for the colorcombo's of the inks. I used the gorgeous Cover a Card Stamps from Impression Obsession and the gorgeous stamps from Chocolate Baroque which you can buy by The Posthumus Shop in Amsterdam. Inventory Challenge 80

Een Tilda of andere stempel wat op mijn persoon slaat en waarom. Daar hoefde ik niet lang over na te denken. Ik heb gekozen voor Tilda goes Shopping. Er zijn nog wel meer Tilda's die passen bij mij maar denk dat op dit moment deze stempel de beste keuze was om de simpele reden dat ik héééél erg van winkelen hou, vooral op het gebied van kaarten en stempelen. Heb het papier van MME Lost en Found gebruikt, zit wel erg veel glitter op maar daar is ook wel mijn ding. Heb zelf de letters en hartjes met glitter bewerkt, qua glitter en bling kan het net allemaal. Het kruissteekje heb ik gedaan met de naaimachine. Het inkleuren heb ik met de Copics gedaan. Ik heb bewust de kleuren niet helemaal aangepast aan het papier. Om te zien wat mijn andere challenge vriendinnen hebben gemaakt hoef je alleen maar even op de namen te klikken die staan in Engelse gedeelte.

A Tilda or another image that resembles me and why. My choice was quickly made, Tilda goes Shopping. There are more Tilda's which I could choose from but at this moment this image was the right one because of the simple reason that I looooove to shop especially the products that have to do with cardmaking and stamping. I have used the DP van MME Lost and Found, the most of those papers have a lot of glitter on it but I am also a girl that loves glitter. Maybe I have used a little bit too much but I think it is oke with this card. I did the coloring with the Copics. I deliberately have not chosen for exactly the same colors as my DP. I did the crisscross stitch with the sewingmachine.

Sewing on your card Inventory Challenge 79

Wil jullie eerst nog even bedanken voor jullie lieve berichtjes op mijn vorige bericht. Voel me een stuk beter maar mijn verkoudheid is nog niet helemaal over.
Ik heb voor het eerst mijn cricut machine gebruikt, heb hem net.  De grote geschulpte bloem heb ik 4x uitgesneden op verschillend DP, MME Stella & Rose en komt bij Scrap&More vandaan,  en 1x uit dun cardstock. Uit elk van de vier heb ik een kwart uitgesneden en op het cardstock geplakt daarna met een kleine zigzagsteek aan elkaar genaaid met de naaimachine. Toen heb ik een klein cirkeltje met een nestabilitie uitgestanst, voor de kern van de bloem, en ook weer rondom met de naaimachine genaaid. Wilde de bloem in principe vastplakken op het papier maar toen bedacht ik dat het ook wel leuk was op hem ook vast te naaien met de kleine zig zagsteek. Vond het doodeng want als het zou mislukken kon ik helemaal opnieuw beginnen. Maar het is gelukt en ben reuze trots op mijzelf ha,ha. De rest van het DP heb ik ook allemaal met de naaimachine gedaan en dit dan met een stiksteek.  De plakparels heb ik een andere kleur gegeven met een Copic Marker. Voor de rest heb ik niet zoveel gebruikt vond de verhouding wel goed zo. Voor wat de andere hebben gemaakt hoeven jullie alleen maar even op de namen de clicken.

I want to thank you for all your sweet comments on my last post. I am feeling much better now. For the first time I have used my new Cricut machine. I have cut the big scalloped flower 4 times from different DP’s, MME Stella&Rose which I bought by Scrap&More,  and 1 from thin cardstock. Then I have cut a quarter of each flower and glued it on the cardstock after that I stitched it with a little zig zag stitch with the sewing machine. After that I cut with a nestability a small circle, for the centre of the flower, and stitch it around. It was my intention to glue the big flower onto the card but I thought it would be nice to stitch it onto the paper. I was a bit scary because when it went wrong I had to start all over with my card. But it turned out very well and I am a bit proud of myself LOL. I have also stitched the other papers with a straight stitch. I needed some grey pearls for this card so I had colored them with a Copic Marker. For the rest of my card I did not use very much because I found it was in the right proportion, not too much not too little.

Inventory Challenge 78 Are you seeing spots.

Ben zo blij dat ik dit kaartje heb afgekregen. Heb de griep en mijn hoofd stond er helemaal niet naar, voel me echt beroerd, dus ik ga zo mijn bed in.  Heb geen lijst met gebruikte materialen dit keer heb er even de puff niet voor. Maar op de foto’s is genoeg te zien. Achter de mini ticket HAPPY zit nog een ticket met BIRTHDAY erop. Moet zeggen dat ik best wel tevreden ben met hoe die is geworden. Alleen de inkleuring kon beter. Ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden en tot de volgende keer weer.

I am so glad that I have finished this card. I have the flu and my mind was in my bed LOL, I am feeling terrible so after I have published this I am going to my bed. No list with materials I have used this time, I am sorry. But I think you can see on the photo’s what I did. Behind the ticket HAPPY is a ticket with BIRTHDAY on it.  I have to say that, despite everything, I am pleased with the result. Only the coloring could be better. Use a forgotten stamp, an old one….

Dat was het thema voor de Inventory  Challenge van deze week.  Ik heb niet echt stempels waarvan ik niet weet dat ik ze nog heb maar wel héél veel die ik nog nooit gebruikt heb.  De Magnolia stempel die ik voor mijn kaart heb gebruikt heb ik eigenlijk nog niet zo lang maar het is wel één van de eerste Magnolia’s jaar 2006, dus echt een oudje.  Toen ik deze stempel voor het eerst zag voor ik hem lelijk maar de langer ik er naar keek des te leuker ik hem vond en toen toch maar gekocht.  Om hem nog iets ouder te laten lijken hem ik hem met Utee embossingpoeder gecrackeld en daarna met distressinkt bewerkt. De rest van het kaartje spreekt voor zich.  Voor de binnenkant van de sterren tag heb ik de Magnolia Silent Night background gebruikt(heb er geen foto van gemaakt).
En……………… deze week is Elle bij ons team gekomen.
Misschien is het leuk om even te kijken wat Elle en mijn andere teamleden hebben gemaakt.

 This was the theme for this week’s Inventory Challenge.  I have a lot of stamps, the most I never used, but I know I have them so I have not really forgotten stamps. The Magnolia stamp which I have used for my card I bought recently. It is one of the first Magnolia’s, I think, year 2006, so an old-timer. The first time I saw this image I found it ugly but the more I looked at it the more I started to like it so I bought it. To make it older I used Utee  embossing powder to crackle the image and after that I  finished it with Distressink Brushed Corduroy.  For the inside of the Star Tag I have used the Magnolia Silent Night background( I did not make a picture of it).

Inventory Challenge 76 Create your own DP

Dit keer heb ik totaal iets anders gemaakt en mij meer gericht op stempeltechnieken. Het werken met Magnolia stempels is leuk maar dit soort kaarten vind ik ook erg mooi en leuk om te maken. Ga dit keer niet uitleggen wat ik gedaan heb want dat wordt een beetje ingewikkeld en een lang verhaal. Kon het niet laten om toch een stempel van Magnolia te gebruiken en deze heb ik gebruikt op de grote bloem. Heb ook alles met eigengemaakte glimmermist(refill met perfect pearls en water) gesprayd maar ook dat is, net zoals Stickles, niet goed te zien op de foto’s. Het kant heb ik dmv Stains een andere kleur gegeven. Ben zelf erg tevreden met het resultaat vind vooral het gedeelte waar ik de Cover A Card stempel gebruikt erg mooi geworden. Voor deze kaart heb ik technieken gebruikt van Tim Holtz en uit het tijdschrift CraftStamper.

This time I made something totally different than I usually make and have focused myself too stamp techniques. I love too work with my Maggies but this kind of cards I also like to make. This time I am not going to explain what I did because it is too complicated to describe. I have used a Magnolia stamp for the big flower. I covered everything with handmade glimmermist(refill, perfect peals and water). Just like with Stickles you cannot see it on the pictures. For the lace I have used Stains to give them an other color. I am very pleased with the result especially the part where I have used the Cover a Card stamp. My inspiration for this card is coming from Tim Holtz and from the Magazine Craft stamper. If you want to see what my other teammates have created just click on their names.
